As an OB/GYN and Glocal Health Professional, I’ve always been a passionate advocate for women’s health and the power of prevention to improve health outcomes for both women and men across the globe.
I’ve seen first-hand the devastating effect that an HPV-related cervical cancer diagnosis can have on women, their families and loved ones, and communities. Amazing doctors like adeola olaitan inspired me to understand the impact from London to Lagos. Dedicated academic clinicans like Profs Henry Kitchener at The University of Manchester and Dr R Sankar at International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization exposed me to real-world outcome research in screening. Inspiring public health leaders like Anuradha Gupta Seth Berkley Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance prove the promise of vaccination.
Moving towards a world where way fewer women and men are affected by HPV-related cancers and diseases will take a global village and I'm honored to be leading an incredible team at #Merck #MSD to play our part in getting us one step closer.
