At Ducati we work constantly to ensure that everything we learn in competitions can then be transferred to motorcycles intended for enthusiasts.

The Panigale family is the maximum expression of this continuous exchange of information and technologies from the world of racing to production motorcycles and every year has some improvements, just as it happens with the Ducati Corse prototypes.

With the 2022 model, the Panigale V4 has made the most significant evolution since the year of its launch - with an improvement on every aspect of the bike: aerodynamics, ergonomics, engine, chassis and electronics - but on the 2023 version we made another step forward adopting an updated electronic package, capable of further increasing the riding feeling and performance on the track.

And since our philosophy is to always make improvements available also to Ducatisti that already own their bike whenever this is possible, these updates that characterize both Panigale V4 and V4 S 2023, will also be available for all owners of Panigale V4, Panigale V4 S and Panigale V4 SP2 2022 by means of a software update that can be carried out at a Ducati Service.

The Panigale V4 is a bike that performs just as well in the hands of professionals as it is rewarding for amateurs and is frequently used by Ducati Corse riders during their training sessions. It is no coincidence that this bike will be the protagonist together with the Panigale V2 of the Lenovo Race of Champions, which will be held on Saturday 23 July as part of the World Ducati Week 2022 and will see 21 Ducati riders from the MotoGP, Superbike and Supersport championships compete at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”.

The start of the 2023 racing season saw a Ducati full domination this weekend in Australia!

In WorldSBK Alvaro Bautista won three times, Michael Ruben Rinaldi was second twice and Nicolò Bulega won both WorldSSP races, taking the Panigale V2 on top of the podium for the first time. Also Alex Bassani and Phillip Öttl did great with P4 and P5 in WorldSBK race 2.

It is an impressive start and everyone in Borgo Panigale is very proud of the work done by our riders and the Ducati Corse crew during the winter. It looks like our “never stop improving” philosophy is paying off. In fact, even if the Panigale SBK 22 was very competitive and won the title last year, the production R&D team developed an even more performing base bike, the Panigale V4 R 2023.

With this new version of the Panigale V4 R, we have risen the bar again. Many concepts were included on Ducati Corse's specific request, like new pistons and new connecting rods, updated aerodynamics and many other detail improvements. This is a bike that as we ship it from the Borgo Panigale manufacturing when taken to base track trim with racing exhaust and Ducati Corse Oil, delivers 240,5 HP without any tuning needed.

Yesterday we had in Borgo Panigale the CEO of AUDI, Markus Duesmann, together with Board Member Sales and Marketing HIldegard Wortmann. It was the first official meeting in person and it was extremely fruitful. Markus is not only a very passionate engineer but also a real bike fanatic, owning more than fifty bikes, therefore the discussion on current and future products was very intense. Ildegard is really very expert too and focused on the sales and marketing issues therefore also there the interaction with our sales and marketing team was very fruitful . We were also able to show how Ducati is navigating through these difficult and turbulent times as a robust and resiliant but fast ship. After some very difficult months because of Covid19 we are now recovering quickly and July will be our best month ever, well above 2019 results. No one single R&D project has been stopped and we will launch next year two new very important bikes. We also tested a preproduction version of one of these two new bike together with Markus in a very hot summer day! It was good fun! #Movingforward

Dopo la doppia vittoria nei campionati mondiali MotoGP e Superbike non vediamo l'ora di festeggiare in grande con un evento aperto a tutti gli appassionati.
 
Campioni in Piazza² sarà prima di tutto un momento di condivisione con al centro la passione per Ducati, ma non solo: sarà anche l'occasione per ringraziare ufficialmente davanti a tutti i fan Pecco Bagnaia e Alvaro Bautista, insieme a tutte le persone che nei team Ducati Corse in MotoGP e Superbike hanno reso possibile questo trionfo.
 
Non potevamo che decidere di festeggiare nella nostra città, Bologna. Ringrazio Matteo Lepore e tutte le istituzioni coinvolte per la disponibilità e il supporto dimostrati fin da subito, fondamentali quando si organizza un evento di questo genere in una location prestigiosa come Piazza Maggiore.
 
Sono sicuro che tutte le cittadine e i cittadini di Bologna appassionati del mondo delle due ruote si uniranno a noi per festeggiare gli obiettivi raggiunti da un'azienda che ha le sue radici ben salde nel territorio della Motor Valley e che da sempre è ambasciatrice del Made in Italy nel mondo.
 
Sul palco in piazza saliranno tanti amici del brand, personaggi e artisti italiani. Alcuni nomi sono Giuseppe Giacobazzi, Luca Ward, Guido Meda, Federico Poggipollini e J-Ax.

With almost 10,000 bikes delivered worldwide, the Multistrada V4 was the best-selling and most-loved bike for Ducatisti in 2021. A great success for one of my favorite bikes ever!

What I like the most about this incredible motorcycle is its technical soul, expressed first of all by the front and rear radar system – which represents a milestone for the global motorcycle industry – but also by the integrated navigation system and a terrific engine with record maintenance intervals fixed every 60,000 km.

We could have stopped there, but Ducati is synonymous with constant work of research and development aimed at a continuous improvement of our bikes, taking into account all the needs of the Ducatisti. That’s why I’m enthusiastic about the new 2022 evolutions for the Multistrada V4!

New additions include the introduction of the Minimum Preload system and infotainment updates, along with a beautiful new livery in Iceberg White colour. The line of Ducati Performance accessories is also enriched with two important contents: the low suspension kit and the aluminum bags designed by the Centro Stile Ducati.

The new package of updates is available both as a standard feature on new motorcycles and free of charge for those who already own a Multistrada V4 S, so that those who have chosen us can keep up with the innovation and take advantage of all the improvements of today and tomorrow.

Multistrada owners who can take advantage of these new features will be contacted gradually through the MyDucati App and via email and will then be able to go to their trusted Ducati Service to receive the updates.

Today in Borgo Panigale we cut the ribbon on the new “Finitura e Delibera Estetica” building – which literally means “Finishing and Aesthetic Approval”.
 
This new and modern manufacturing will house a strategic moment of the production process, which corresponds to the dressing of the motorcycle and the final aesthetic checks. This very important stage allows us to maintain high standards of aesthetic quality, ensuring that our passionate Ducatisti receive the perfect bikes of their dreams.
 
The facility is a nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB), built according to principles that achieve high energy performance and employing technologies to mitigate environmental impacts, including a 170 kWp photovoltaic system and a rainwater storage tank of about 150 m³.
 
The “Finitura e Delibera Estetica” building brings value not only to the company but also to the territory in which Ducati operates.
 
I want to thank all the participants, especially Markus Duesmann, Jürgen R. and Matteo Lepore for being present today to share with us this important moment.
