I am shocked by the messages I receive on LinkedIn from job seekers in their 40s, 50s, or 60s.

They feel that companies treat them as if they were 100 years old.

Age does not decrease their ability to perform at work!

These people bring a wealth of life experience to the table.

They are still eager to learn. They are still coachable. And they're up to date on the latest industry trends.

Let's stop misjudging people!

Age is just a number.

Helping someone find a job isn't just about employment.

It's about changing lives.

It's giving someone the chance to shine and make a difference.

So, next time you know of an opening, refer people from your network.

You never know whose life you might positively impact!

Dear Companies,

Either you take care of your employees, or someone else will.

My last client was promised 10 months ago that she would be moving to a new role.

Each time she brought it up, her boss said they would review her request within a month or so.

She asked 3 times. She started to think that they were not taking her seriously.

I helped her look for a new job. Last week she received a hiring offer.

When she submitted her resignation, she received that promotion. Without hesitation, she declined it.

Companies believe they have many options, but so do employees.

I used to be happy with my last employer.

But one day, another company approached me.

For the same job, they offered me a 50% higher salary. I was surprised!

It became clear to me that my employer did not value me. I was so busy with my daily tasks that I didn't realize that.

At that moment, I decided to work for someone who saw my worth. I became part of a team that cared about each other.

Remember this:

Employees have options, too.

If you don't take care of them, someone else will.

I receive about 600 LinkedIn messages and emails a day from job seekers.

It takes me and my team around 4 hours to answer them.

Many would say that it is a waste of time.

But I don't share that belief.

I have been in their shoes before. No one wanted to help me or advise me. I remember that frustration.

I want to make a difference for the job seekers out there.

Everyone deserves a CHANCE.

My best friend applied to almost 700 jobs in the last five months.

She landed only 8 interviews.

She made it to the final round 4 times.

She was rejected 2 times and ghosted once.

She was ready to give up the search and move back to her parents for financial support.

Last month, she received a HIRING OFFER and just started at her dream job.

Never give up when looking for a job. Never!

Dear Companies,

Stop asking job seekers to attach their resumes only to ask them to manually enter the same information on the next page.

People are looking for jobs, not wasting time.

Sincerely,
All Job Seekers

Dear Job Seekers,

You can be rejected hundreds of times and still get a job.

It's all part of the process. It's inevitable.

It happens to me, to you, and everyone else at some point in our careers.

Is that the end of the story? No.

Rejections are just redirections to something that was waiting for you.

You are STRONGER than you think. So, keep going!

Ever had a boss who just nods and approves your leave without digging into your life story?

That's the sign of a workplace that gets it.

In a good culture, they trust you.

No interrogation needed!

One of my clients had zero experience and was hired in June as an HR Assistant.

She got this feedback after the second round of interviews:

“You fit in well with our company culture.“

Remember this:

You don't need 10 years of experience to do the job.

You just need someone that will take a chance on you.

Boss: “Is everyone working from home this month?“

HR: “Exactly.“

Boss: “But are they really working?”

HR: “Are they performing all the tasks?“

Boss: “Well... yes.“

HR: “That means they are working.“

The work environment has changed. And it's time to change the leadership style, too.

Count the RESULTS, not the hours spent at work!

One of my LinkedIn connections has 25 years of work experience and has been looking for a job for 3 years.

He ended up homeless for almost 4 months.

HR people he met feared he would ask for a high salary. But he didn't.

He was willing to fit into their financial ranges, but that wasn't enough. They still looked at his age, some even asking why he was homeless. He was just looking for someone to appreciate his knowledge.

I helped him find a job by recommending him to a recruiter friend.

He couldn't thank me enough but promised to help other job seekers as well.

Never lose hope! There are still companies out there willing to give YOU a chance.

I spoke to 9 recruiters in March who offered me freelance projects.

I took the time to listen to each of them.

But not a single recruiter had the courtesy to get back to me.

My time and energy went to waste.

I lost 9 hours that I could have spent doing something more productive.

People need to learn that time is valuable. So is feedback.

Let's create a more respectful workplace culture where time is one of the most valuable resources!

Bosses listen to respond. They're quick with answers and eager to showcase their knowledge.

Leaders, on the other hand, listen to understand. They dig deeper, seeking the why behind the what.

Great leaders take it a step further. They listen not just to understand but to figure out how to support you. Their focus is on your success.

The true power of leadership lies in the ability to uplift others.
