We’re proud of the more than 52,000 associates who have already taken advantage of the Live Better U program, creating new opportunities by continuing their education. Now, Walmart is covering 100% of college tuition and books and adding new college options. Full- and part-time hourly store associates are eligible on the day they join the company. To those who have already graduated, way to go! And for those who are thinking about signing up, today’s the day!
Enjoyed visiting with associates and customers in the Houston area today! Jelani and the team at Store 2993 in Sugar Land, TX, are ready for Easter and celebrating baseball season. Clay and the team at 3584 are ready for spring and some warmer weather sales. Store 3296 in Houston has a great energy. Our store manager, Ricky, even talked us into doing a TikTok. I appreciate everyone’s feedback today and the work you’re doing to delight our customers. Way to go, everyone!
This group of associates from our stores and distribution centers are completing a 10-week program for recent college grads where they work in home office roles in something like an internal internship. Very cool. It’s also exciting to see 17 of the 20 associates completed their degrees through the Live Better U program – way to go you all! Enjoyed visiting with you.
It’s not summer without our annual Interns vs. Executives softball game. One of my favorite traditions! We appreciate all our interns for their hard work during their summer with us. Congratulations on the win! Thank you all!

This week I had the chance to meet with interns in Bentonville and around the country via Zoom. Interns from Hoboken, Reston, Dallas, San Bruno and Sunnyvale were all on with some great questions and feedback. They are doing great work and we hope they decide to start their careers with us!
Had such a great time visiting with our teams at Store 3418 in Wesley Chapel, FL, as well as Stores 3526, 1213, and Sam’s Club 4818 in Brooksville this week. It’s easy to get caught up in their enthusiasm for the new year ahead! They are ready to go with Valentine’s Day and spring merchandise for customers and members. Special thanks to our leaders, Alejandra, Kamilla, Tom and Scott. Thanks also to Phyllis and the bakery team at 3526 and Chandra and the health care team at 3418. Way to go!

Thank you to another strong group of leaders visiting on the second day of their five-day Manager Academy experience. Several thousand associates are expected to participate in the program this year where we focus on leadership and culture. I’m excited to see what they do next!
Not long ago, I received a letter from a member of Sam's Club 6384 in Hodgkins, IL. They told me about an associate named Renee, who makes their member experience outstanding because she treats them like family. Turns out, the associates she works with feel the same way. She gives gifts of encouragement and knowledge to her team and makes Sam’s Club a better place to work and shop. Great job, Renee. THANK YOU!
