4 years ago, I sat next to a gentleman on a flight from New York to Florida 🌴

What started as a simple conversation turned into a friendship I never expected but am incredibly grateful for.

Tomorrow, I have the honor of celebrating his 99th birthday with him and his family at Mr. Big Fish in Naples.

At 99 years old, he continues to inspire everyone around him with his stories, wisdom, and humor..

He is also a proud World War II veteran, part of a generation that helped shape the world we live in today.❤️

I have a special birthday wish…

Freedom is being yourself without permission.

For me, it’s early mornings, quiet waves, and a little time just for me — with dolphins dancing in the surf and a graceful crane keeping me company along the shore.

Sometimes, the best way to show up in life is to show up for yourself first. 💙

So today, that's what I did. Parked my ass on the floor. Let the words do the talking.

Didn't rush to get up.

My love language is getting things done.

Call me crazy, but I’ve never met a to-do list I didn’t love. 🤷‍♀️

Except for the one about cleaning out the junk drawer…
that thing has been on my list for so long it basically qualifies as a roommate! lol

But there’s something so satisfying about keeping promises to yourself, isn’t there?

Taking the step.
Making the move.
Following through.

Confidence doesn’t come from just thinking about the thing,
it comes from doing the thing! 👏🏻

And there’s nothing better than taking that momentum and using it to cheer others on, lift people up, and help make big dreams happen too. ✨

Not every deal is your deal

I went through a “Yes Girl” Era.

Early in my career, ( I mean last week 😂🤣)
I thought saying yes to everyone and everything
meant I was it. 😬

Every loan? You got it.
Every client? Of course.
10 p.m. calls? You bet ya.

Turns out, that protecting your sanity doesn’t make you less successful ….. it just makes you sustainable… and since I ain’t going nowhere 🙃😊…..

And that’s when I learned one of the most important lessons of all:
💡 Not every deal is your deal!!

Saying no means saying yes to something more aligned. ✨

There’s real power in being selective with your YES.
Because boundaries? That’s just good business. 😉

Comfort and growth rarely share the same address

I've checked.
They're not neighbors either. 🙃

Comfort lives in the land of "maybe next year."
Growth lives down the street from "why didn't I do this sooner?"

The commute between the two can feel a little intimidating…

I’ve heard rumors that it includes overthinking, hesitation,
and a couple of emotional speed bumps.

But apparently the property values are excellent!
And hey, a lot of good things start with a change of address ✨
