Here is a breakdown.

First, a 20-minute meeting with the Recruiter, where you will get a chance to know about

๐Ÿ”นorganization's mission
๐Ÿ”น culture
๐Ÿ”น values and how well you fit in with them.

Second, a 30-minute interview with the Hiring Manager, where they will discuss

๐Ÿ”นyour experience and
๐Ÿ”นqualifications for the role you have applied for.

Lastly, a 40-minute interview with The Team,
where you will be able to

๐Ÿ”นinteract with potential colleagues,
๐Ÿ”นget to know them and
๐Ÿ”นdetermine how well you will fit in
with the team dynamics and work culture.

After these three interviews, companies should be equipped to decide on hiring.

Culture isn't about free snacks or fancy mission statements.

It's about the silent, unspoken behaviors that define your organization.

Thanks to my friend Andrew Lokenauth for sharing this visual.

When did you last see someone help a colleague without expecting anything in return?

Or are leaders listening more than they speak?

Authentic culture lives in these everyday actions, not glossy posters on the wall.

It's what happens when the boardroom doors are closed and what carries on long after the CEO leaves the room.

How does your workplace culture manifest in the little moments?

Let me know your thoughts below, and let's redefine what culture truly means.

โ€œCulture is how employees' hearts and stomachs feel about Monday on Sunday night.โ€œ

Once upon a timeโ€ฆ

I had a boss who did not like me.

No matter how hard I tried, that boss always found something in everything I did.

This circumstance was seriously affecting my mental health. I was constantly in tears.

After a few years, I concluded that it doesn't matter how hard you try;

Some people would never like you.

And it's important to remember that we all deserve to be treated with

โ†ณ kindness
โ†ณ and respect.

So, It's crucial to find a workplace that recognizes and values your hard work and dedication,

where your contributions are appreciated and celebrated.

Don't dwell on a lack of professionalism and respect, which can impact your health and well-being.

Keep searching and striving for a place where you feel valued and respected.

We all deserve to work for a great leader.

Toxic cultures don't always start with bad people.
They start when leaders look the other way.

I was speaking with a client recently who had loved their job.
Loved their team.
Loved the work.

But everything changed because of one thing: favoritism.

A coworker kept missing deadlines and delivering poor work.
Instead of addressing it, leadership made excuses.
Because of a personal friendship.

The result?
The team stopped believing in fairness.
People who gave their best started pulling back.
Eventually, the strongest employees started looking for the exit.

Not because they stopped loving the mission.
Because they stopped trusting the leadership.

When we lose accountability, we lose trust.
And when trust is gone, it doesn't matter how good the perks are.
People will leave.

Culture is not built in the big moments.
It is built every day by what leaders allow.

Have you ever stayed too long in a culture that stopped feeling right?

I was REJECTED for an internal position after passing all the required assessments.

This was a very toxic work environment. The manager was bullying and demoralizing everyone on the team, including me.

She FIRED me for being honest and expressing my concerns.

Three days later, she offered me to come back to my role. I said no, but, no, thank you.

Three months later, an AMAZING career opportunity came my way.

Lessons Learned:

1)Leaving an unhealthy work environment is the right decision.
2)Your value does not decrease based on someoneโ€™s opinion of you.
3)If a door closes, many more will open.
4)Never let anyone underestimate you.
5)You must believe in yourself.

You do not need a title to lead.

A boss may have the title, but a leader has the people.

Imagine a workplace where influence isn't dictated by titles but by actions.

A place where leadership is about how well you connect, understand, and inspire those around you. It's a reality more common than we think.

A boss may sit at the top of the organizational chart, but a leader stands at the center of the network.

They listen, empathize, and act. They don't rely on titles to lead; they leverage relationships, knowledge, and trust.

Authentic leadership is about making others feel seen and valued. It's about guiding by example, not from a position of power.

Leaders without titles are the unsung heroes in the shadows, driving change, fostering innovation, and nurturing the next generation of leaders.

So, ask yourself, are you waiting for a title to lead, or are you taking the initiative to make a difference right where you are?
