It's time to choose yourself!

That seat at the table might never come

We wait patiently in the belief
That someone will see our value and choose us

But we don't need validation from others
✅ To get started
✅ To take the first step
✅ To do what's been on our mind

My learnings
→ Walk away from those who didn’t see your value
→ Choose yourself
→ Create your own table
→ Invite the cheerleaders to join you

Yes, it takes a bit of bravery
But when you realise it's your choice
Then know you can do it 🙌

I said I was going to have a TV show, so I am. I am creating one myself.

Not the typical TV show that you might imagine, but this is something a bit different, and I am so excited

Me and my friend Mae, who's another female founder, are launching the Female Founders Rise show.
Mainly a YouTube show but also a
Podcast and in person recordings which you can join!!

We're recording it in a super cool female founded venue today and then hosting live shows where female founders and listeners can come and watch episodes get filmed, have fun, and make friends


Today we're going to be talking about:
- how Mae raised her first £1M from angel investors (I'm one of them)
- how I made my first £100k in business about 20 years ago
- how I would make my first £100k now in 2026
- and last of all why I often advocate for taking angel investment over VC funding


I'm so excited to do this and can't wait to see some of you at the live show on the 19th May
