Apple just replaced Tim Cook. The details are wild.

Here are the 7 craziest facts about the new CEO:

1. The new CEO is John Ternus, a hardware engineer.

2. He joined Apple back in 2001 as a 26-year-old engineer.

3. He climbed one product line at a time for 25 years.

4. He became VP, then SVP of Hardware Engineering.

5. He led the switch from Intel chips to Apple's own silicon.

6. He's named on 403 Apple patents.

7. Tim Cook stays on as executive chairman after 15 years.

An hardware engineer with no MBA now runs a $4 trillion company.

Is an engineer the CEO Apple needed?

New startup idea: LinkedOut.

A place where employees expose why they quit:

On LinkedIn, every exit is

"grateful for the journey."

On LinkedOut, you'd read what happened BEFORE the gratitude.

The manager who took credit.
The 11pm Slack messages.
The "we're a family" speech.

Well, Glassdoor tried something close and got buried in lawsuits.

So this app would probably survive a week.

But dreaming is free.

To be fair, unemployed people already have a social network.

It's called Reddit.

What would your first LinkedOut post say?

The AI bubble can burst while AI keeps improving.

The warning sign isn't weaker AI. It's slower revenue growth.

A similar slowdown came before the 2008 financial crisis.

FHFA data show US home prices were still at record highs in 2006.

But annual growth had fallen from 15% to 8%.

Federal Reserve research found that when growth slowed, borrowers couldn't refinance.

Loans began failing before home prices crashed.

AI is different, but the risk may be the same.

Today's massive data center spending only pays off if AI revenue keeps growing fast enough.

China can slow that growth by making capable AI much cheaper.

Axios reports China's Kimi K3 beat top US models while costing roughly 40% less.

Cheaper Chinese models can pull customers away and force American companies to lower their prices too.

Sales grow more slowly. Investors expect less. Funding gets harder.

Better AI won't save the bubble if a price war slows revenue growth.

Can America's AI bubble survive a price war with China?

Anthropic has the best model. OpenAI wins anyway.

Here's what happens next, and when:

Fable 5 is the best model on earth.

Opus 5 and Sonnet 5 feel like a joke next to it.

Anthropic made one bet, code, and it was the right one.

OpenAI was spread across agents, images, writing, etc.

That's how they lost the lead for a few months.

Then they noticed. In fact, who didn't.

Now they're all in on code and agents.

They're the best AI company in the world again.

Anthropic is worth more on paper today.

It's run by researchers, and that's the problem.

That leadership can't carry this kind of weight.

Managing is the one thing Sam Altman does well.

He'll make that company sharper every quarter.

My call: OpenAI ends up one of the most dangerous companies in the world.

Anthropic stays in the race only if it fixes who's in charge.

While you're on holiday, these people are cooking.

The AI tsunami arrives before you can see it.

Darwin is watching, and a lot of jobs go in 6-12 months.

Are you using AI every day, or watching it happen?

Elon Musk just said China will probably win the AI race.

His reason has nothing to do with chips:

AI runs on two things, he told The Economist: chips and electricity.

America still has the best chips.

But China already produces more electricity than the US, Europe and India combined.

Musk expects them to reach 4 times America's power output.

And the US can't catch up fast: a new power plant waits about 5 years just to plug into the grid.

Musk didn't wait. He bought 35 gas turbines to power his own AI data center in Memphis.

Now everyone wants turbines, and the waitlist for those is 5 years too.

China's weak spot is chips, since the US banned its best ones.

But their labs already build models almost as good as America's best, on a fraction of the computing power.

That's the asymmetry:

China can fix chips in years.

America needs decades to fix power.

Can America solve its power problem before China solves chips?

If you can’t answer these 6 questions, you’re not ready to sell:

1. What’s your one-sentence pitch that clearly explains your offer to a potential client?

2. What are the top 3 problems your ideal customers face that your solution solves?

3. What are the 3 main benefits your solution offers your target customers?

4. If prospects already have a provider, why should they switch to you?

5. Why should prospects buy now, not later? What makes now the right time?

6. What’s a clear win prospects get from the call - even if they don’t buy?

Because I could walk in and order the good stuff.

The triple-verified email of the CEO sitting at the top of my wishlist.

The mobile number of that same CEO, verified in the last 7 days.

A side of decision-makers I didn't even know existed.

The menu runs 300M+ contacts deep, so there's always something fresh to order.

Triple-verified emails. Phone numbers refreshed weekly. No more guessing, no more bouncing.

The only problem?

Kimi K3 dropped and the US is in full panic.

Here's what we know so far:

1. 2 to 3 trillion parameters (Opus 4.8 sits around 1.5t)

2. 1 million token context window

3. Early testers say it matches or beats Opus 4.8, the best coding model on the market

Six months ago China was six months behind.

Now half of Silicon Valley says the gap is gone.

My view as someone who runs revenue systems on these models every day:

The winner of the benchmark war matters less than you think.

Labs leapfrog each other every 6 weeks.

What compounds is the system you build on top: your prompts, your agents, your data, your workflows.

Those survive every model release.

And there's a catch nobody prices in:

K3 might be better, but they may not have the compute to serve the demand.

A smarter model you wait 90 seconds for, loses to a fast one in any real sales workflow.

P.S. Team Claude or team Kimi?

Working inside your business can make you feel constantly busy.

The problem is that you often choose low-impact tasks you could have delegated.

For most companies, the only things a founder truly cannot delegate are hiring, strategy, and vision.

Everything else is delegable.

Every time you’re doing something, ask yourself:

Is this worth my time, or could someone else do it?

That’s how you build leverage.

That’s how your actions take you further.

That’s how your income stops being tied to the hours you work.

Making money with your time is the weakest model.

Making money with your ideas is better.

Making money with your money, letting capital generate more capital, is the smartest.

Ask yourself which stage you’re in and which stage you want to reach.

If you think your time as a founder isn’t worth sending manual emails, think again.

Last Friday, I spent four hours writing emails by hand to partners, investors, and journalists who have huge influence in the market.

Having the most advanced AI doesn’t mean you should automate your top 1% contacts. Those deserve personal outreach.

Today it’s easier than ever. You can dictate an email into ChatGPT while researching someone.

Open their LinkedIn or website, speak your message, and refine it in real time based on what you see.

That’s exactly what I did:

I pulled each contact from Prospeo, knowing the data was triple-verified and weekly refreshed, and sent a 1:1 email.

Many of them replied the same day.

And today, I already know that this week and next week I’ll be sitting down with some of the exact people I wanted to speak with.

So here’s today’s advice:

Use Prospeo.io for manual outreach to your top 1% contacts.

OpenAI just teased GPT-6 SOL. Someone already has it.

The 5 biggest leaks I'm allowed to share:

1. GPT-6 Sol lands on Thursday, with a smaller GPT-6 Luna next to it.

2. Sol should sit below the flagship Astra: almost as good, much cheaper, like Opus under Fable.

3. Some people still on 5.6 Sol say GPT-6 Sol is already answering them, and it's very fast.

4. Anthropic is doing the same: Opus 5 users report they're secretly getting Opus 5.2.

5. One tester calls Opus 5 a disaster: lazy, slow, nerfed, beaten by DeepSeek Flash.

Some of you already have the new models and don't know it.

Which are you more excited for, GPT-6 Sol or Opus 5.2?

99% founders kill long-term progress with one mistake.

Lifetime compounding is not about being smart once.

It’s about acting in ways that don’t break your momentum.

Bad habits, bad people, and too much risk kill progress early.

Most people fail because they add one unnecessary mistake that resets their game.

You compound when you:

1. build habits you can repeat for years
2. stay inside what you really understand
3. let good decisions run without touching 'em

Which of these 3 are you already doing well?

Sam Altman is showing GPT-6 to Washington first.

Here are the 6 things we know about it:

- It made an original scientific discovery.
- It solved an 80 year old maths problem on its own.
- It works for hours without anyone watching it.
- Its cyber skills are strong enough to scare people.
- It is probably behind the Hugging Face incident.
- It sells knowledge per dollar over benchmark scores.

This is not the usual small step up from ChatGPT.

We built our whole core system on Claude this year.

And I would still bet that GPT-6 ends it for Anthropic.

Did you notice that Fable 5 got silently nerfed?

99% of teams miss this KEY scaling lever 🤦🏻‍♂️

Hiring people who wait for instructions 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 scale.

You need people who:

1. Understand the current internal standard for their area
2. Own it end-to-end
3. Raise it through continuous iteration

That’s the difference between execution and compounding.

Companies scale when 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 raise standards.

Who’s the strongest process owner on your team?
Post image by Federico Donatone 🌟
It took me a while to understand this.

It doesn’t matter how many hours your employees work.

The only thing that matters is output.

Each team member must have measurable KPIs.

They must be evaluated against them on a yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.

Make these KPIs numeric so you can clearly see whether they are delivering what the business needs.

Forget how many hours your employees work, especially if your team is remote.

It doesn’t matter if they work 10 hours or 100.

What matters is whether they hit their KPIs.

Everything else is micromanagement.

Focus on output.

One important thing to understand about sales is this: it’s not about changing people’s minds.

It’s not about turning someone who doesn’t want something into someone who does.

It’s about:

1. Identifying people who are already in a buying process

We look for signals like job changes, hiring trends, and recent funding, and track them inside Prospeo.io so we’re working with data we can trust.

2. Understanding the key drivers behind their decision

3. Listening carefully

And then positioning what you’re selling to highlight the aspects that matter most to them.

Everything comes down to problem and solution.

The better you are at asking the right questions about the problem,

the better you’ll be at explaining how your solution stands out.

Your goal is to make it clear why it should be tried now, not later.

You need a strong reason why now is the right moment and why waiting will cost them a specific amount of time and money.

Be the opportunity.

Anyone can copy your software now. Nobody can copy your data.

A team that once needed 5 years and $5M to build a product now ships it in a weekend with AI.

Features get cloned in days.
Pricing gets matched in hours.
Your UI gets rebuilt in a weekend.

So what's actually left to defend?

The one thing AI can't fake: years of real, verified, proprietary data.

You can't prompt your way to 300M professional profiles.
You can't generate phone numbers that actually connect.
You can't hallucinate a database refreshed every single week.

That's why I keep coming back to Prospeo.io.

300M companies and contacts.
Emails and mobile numbers, triple-verified.
Refreshed weekly, so you never call a dead line.

When software is a commodity, the data underneath is the moat.

Build on data nobody else has and you stop competing on price.

What's the one asset in your business that can't be copied?

Chinese AI models caught up to GPT-5.6.

The 4 best models and when to use each:

An independent test puts them a step behind the best American models, at a fraction of the price.

2. Kimi K3 works like an analyst. Give it documents and spreadsheets, it comes back with a report.

3. Qwen3.8 Max handles mixed work. Use it when the job has screenshots, charts and text together.

4. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash is built for speed. Use it for scripts, quick fixes and anything due today.

Keep Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra for the hardest problems.

Most founders are running outbound blind.

They filter companies by industry, size, location…

and completely ignore how those companies actually sell.

Inside Prospeo, there’s a filter many people overlook:

Company Attributes.

This tells you if the companies you’re targeting:

- offer demo
- offer free trial
- have a downloadable product
- have a mobile app
- have online reviews
- have public pricing

This is how you understand how a company converts customers.

And your outbound should match that.

If you’re selling meetings
↳ target companies that offer demos

If you’re driving sign-ups
↳ target companies with a free trial

If you reference pricing
↳ make sure they actually have it public

If you mention social proof
↳ they need to have reviews

Otherwise, your message is misaligned from day one.

This is why most outbound doesn’t convert.

Because the message doesn’t match the target company’s GTM motion.

Stop filtering companies only by who they are.

Start filtering by how they sell.

5 Perplexity Computer workflows that replace your entire GTM stack 🤫

Most GTM teams are drowning in tools:

Instantly, Apollo, Clay.

They're expensive, slow to learn, full of gaps.

Here's how I use Perplexity Computer instead:

1. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽

Just yesterday, before a call with a cybersecurity company, it surfaced a recent executive hire and a positioning shift that wasn't on their website. I walked into the meeting already knowing what was consuming their budget, with no 30-minute research scramble.

2. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵

I needed to find more information about a VP of Sales. It built a complete profile: background, company news, and a recent trigger event, instead of leaving me to stitch together information across a dozen tabs. That trigger became my opening line.

3. 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼

Now, before every demo, it maps our product to each account's existing tech stack and priorities, so I can tailor the conversation to their actual challenges instead of running a generic walkthrough.

4. 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲

Every time I need to write outreach, it drafts personalized first lines using real company signals such as recent hires, funding rounds, and product launches, so I can refine instead of staring at a blank page.

5. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

One competitor kept coming up in sales conversations, so I had Computer track their launches and positioning. When a prospect brought them up on a call, I was able to explain exactly where we differed and handle the objection on the spot.

Five workflows replacing what used to require multiple tools, dozens of tabs, and hours of manual research.

What part of your GTM is taking up the most time?

Ask Computer to solve it for you.

Day 2, again: users discover it was quietly giving worse answers to anyone building rival AI. Without telling them.

Day 3: Anthropic apologizes. Their exact words: "We made the wrong tradeoff."

Day 4: the US government pulls it off the market.

Yesterday it came back. And the internet went to war.

In 2 weeks people have gone from absolutely loving Anthropic to hating them.

Success is rented, my friend.

That said, one thing is undeniable:

What the previous model struggled to add, even after multiple iterations, this one can nail in a single shot.

You have 1 week to use it without going bankrupt.

After July 7, the real price kicks in.

My take:

If OpenAI's next model matches this without the drama, it's over for Anthropic.

If it doesn't, this chaos was the cheapest marketing campaign in history.

Scam or masterpiece:

where do you land?

Getting rich in 2026 is a skills problem.

Here are the 13 skills that actually compound:

1. Planning with Fable 5, executing with Codex. Two AIs, one workflow.

2. Running Claude Code and Codex side by side, so they check each other's work.

3. Coding loops: describe, run, fix, repeat until it ships.

4. Agents that work while you sleep. Start with one weekly task.

5. Local models, so your stack survives any vendor's pricing change.

6. APIs. The difference between using software and commanding it.

7. How databases work. Your CRM is just a database with opinions.

8. Building an audience on X and LinkedIn. Distribution is leverage.

9. Creating video. The highest-converting format of 2026.

10. How machine learning actually works, so no demo can fool you again.

11. Training a model on your own data. Your playbook becomes software.

12. Killing doomscrolling. Attention is the input to everything above.

13. Most importantly: focus. One offer, one market, one channel until it works.

I sell for a living and I learned every single one by building, one evening at a time.

90% of the people engaging with your LinkedIn posts will never buy from you unless you do this:

Posting on LinkedIn creates intent signals.

But 90% of the decision makers engaging with your content never take action.

That’s why timely outreach after someone engages with your content is a must.

They already showed interest in your expertise.

Most simply got distracted or never crossed the friction barrier to reach out.

Your job after posting is to reach out to those decision-makers while interest is still fresh.

This is where taplio.com becomes a money printer.

You can:

1. Reverse engineer viral posts
2. Schedule content
3. Publish it

AND

Automate connection requests, replies, and DMs to engaged decision-makers right after you post.

That's how you capture the 90% of potential buyers who would otherwise stay passive.

This is what separates people using LinkedIn as a revenue engine from those stuck chasing brand awareness.

Have you tried the new Connection Request feature?

We know so much about every single target decision-maker that it's almost scary.

Here's how. 👇💀

One of the most powerful workflows we run at Growth Cab..

combines fresh contact data with Claude Code to automate highly personalized outreach.

It all starts with Prospeo.io.

They give us access to the phone numbers of over 300M decision-makers worldwide,

and every contact is 3x-verified and refreshed within the last 7 days.

From there, we built a Claude Skill that:

- performs deep research on every prospect
- understands their solution
- speaks their language

AND

crafts a tailored use case for their specific business.

We don't lead with a pitch.

We start a conversation around challenges and opportunities that are uniquely relevant to them.

The way to do business development today...

is to be so specific that, if the exact same message were sent to a different decision-maker or company, it would make no sense.

Prospeo helps us reach the right person.

Claude helps us create the right reason to start a conversation.

That combination is now a core part of how we approach personalized outbound at Growth Cab.

Worth exploring for teams trying to improve both their data and personalization.

One of the best things about being a founder is that your job changes constantly.

From one quarter to the next, it can look completely different depending on the stage your company is in.

In the early days, I did a bit of everything.

In fact, some people on the team couldn't even explain what my role was because I was involved in almost every part of the business.

Today, I've managed to break my role down into four core areas. It's still a simplification, but I think it's a useful framework, especially for someone who's just starting out.

𝟭 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆.

That means setting a clear vision, giving people everything they need to do their best work, and making sure they're accountable for the outcomes they own.

𝟮 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀.

Whether I'm talking to customers or investors, this is my main responsibility outside the company.

And one lesson I've learned is that great sales isn't about convincing people.

It's about helping them understand whether what you offer is genuinely the right fit for their situation.

𝟯 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

This is really about creating the company's long-term value. Everything we sell today started as a framework that existed in my head.

How we write scripts, build lead lists, design AI agents, create content, and sell. My job is to build those systems from scratch.

Once they work, I hand them over to people who can improve them, expand them, and become true specialists in those areas.

𝟰 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁.

To me, content is distribution.

It's what turns you into a magnet for opportunities and high-quality people.

It makes people want you in the room, want you at their table, invite you to events, and, in many cases, pay significant amounts just to gain access to your time and expertise.

Those are the four areas where I spend almost all of my time today.

A few months from now, the answer will probably be different again.

And that's exactly what makes being a founder so interesting: your role evolves as your company evolves.
Right now one of your campaigns is emailing 12 people.

It launched with 2,000 leads. They ran out. Nobody noticed.

Watching your leads run dry has always been the most annoying part of running outbound. Instantly.ai just killed that job.

Their new Lead Agent keeps your campaigns topped up with fresh leads automatically. I got early access to run it inside our client workflows at Growth Cab.

How it works.

You attach it to a campaign and set the minimum number of active leads to maintain.

When the count drops below that line, it finds new prospects, matches them to the campaign's audience, and feeds them straight into the sequence.

It reads your existing leads to decide who to target next. No blank filter forms.

When a search runs dry, it broadens the audience on its own or pauses and tells you. Your choice.

To be clear on scope, it tops up campaigns you already built. Strategy is still your job.

We used to fix this with a human who remembers to check. Now the checking is the machine's problem.

Thanks to Instantly for sending over early access to the agent for us to test.

P.S. When was the last time you checked how many active leads your campaigns have left?
If I had to grow again from 0 to 20K impressions per post on LinkedIn, this is what I’d do:

It's 50% networking with other creators..

AND

50% delivering valuable content.

CREATOR NETWORKING

Support creators who support you.
That's how you get initial traction.
But that's not enough to go viral.

To stand out you need:

STELLAR CONTENT

1. Reverse engineer viral posts

Repurpose their structure.
Plug in your narrative.

2. Write strong hooks

The only goal of the first line is:

- Giving context
- Being relevant
- Building curiosity

3. Write short posts

Time is currency.
Big creators can afford long posts.
You can't.

4. Educate, entertain, inspire

That’s what content should do.
You can do all 3 in one post?
You’ve cracked social media.

Initially I did all this manually.
Now I run this entire process in taplio.com.

Which are you stronger at:
networking or content?

How to close deals like a top 1% closer (without sounding salesy):

1. Clarify why the buyer booked the call

2. Clarify gap between current and desired state

- current: metrics, situation, frustration
- desired: target outcome

3. Overview of their past attempts

What have they tried?
What worked?
What failed?

5. Address objections with logic and proof

Associate with what they liked.
Disassociate from what they hated.

6. Confidently ask for the decision

Never forget that you’re here to close.

Apr ‘25: +30 likes per post
Apr ‘26: +400 likes per post

Apr ‘25: +1,000 impressions per post
Apr ‘26: +20,000 impressions per post

I figured out how LinkedIn content works.

And proved it’s repeatable.

I applied the same exact process
to my co-founder’s profile:

→ 10K impressions per post
→ 200 likes per post
→ in 30 days

This isn’t luck.

It’s a process most people don’t have.

1. We identify content the algorithm has already validated
2. We apply those formats to what we want to say

Companies pay us $10K–$50K to implement this.

Tomorrow, I’ll break it down live with Taplio at 11am NYC time.

You’ll also be able to ask me anything.

ONE B2B partnership playbook everyone will copy in 2026 🤑

1️⃣ Publish content using founders' profiles

Start with leaders. Founders read founders.

2️⃣ Publish from your core team’s profiles

Each profile reaches more buyers.

3️⃣ Get mentioned by trusted voices

Have influencers transfer you their authority.

This only works if your team shows up weekly.
