Jaipur - The Salesforce Capital of India! 🇮🇳

The term may sound it a bit cliché or overly optimistic, but it's remarkable how our pink city of Jaipur has well and truly established itself as the Salesforce capital of India. A Tier-2 city which has traditionally been known more for it's tourism and jewellery industries is now turning out to a major force to reckon with as a tech hub, especially on Salesforce!

We're grateful to the Salesforce leadership who took time to visit Jaipur and interact with local MVPs, Community Group Leaders and Instructors. Thank you Ann Gaudard Weeby (SVP - Trailhead), John Klein (Director - Trailblazer Help) and Praveen Khurana (VP - Trailhead Learning) from the Trailhead Executive Leadership team for taking the time to meet us and witness our glorious Salesforce ecosystem - we all had a great time brainstorming our ideas and discussing our feedback with you. Thank you Sudheer Kumar Kota for making it happen.

This transformation of Jaipur hasn't happened overnight, a lot of it comes down to the support we've received over the years from Salesforce leaders like Kavindra Patel Jacob Lehrbaum Rajdeep Dua Kiran manyala Bhanu Dasgupta and more recently, the new-age executive leadership of Salesforce India including CEO Arundhati Bhattacharya and Managing Director - Sanket Atal, we're grateful for supporting and nurturing the ecosystem in our city Jaipur.

It's been a difficult year for me in many ways but I'm glad that my learning hasn't stopped despite those setbacks. While I had a couple of year 2022 goals which still eluded me this year, I finish off this year with a lot of gratitude and appreciation for all these amazing learning opportunities.

Taking the next few days off to reflect on the year gone by, planning ahead for the new year 2023 and setting my goals - to come back refreshed, rejuvenated and with a renewed focus. Blessed to be a part of this ecosystem and will continue to contribute my best next year!

Happiness is visiting the Salesforce office and seeing fellow Salesforce MVP and my good friend Rupesh B. featured as a trailblazer in the Company Book.

I've known Rupesh for several years - a Trailblazer in the truest sense, always sharing his knowledge, inspiring others and contributing selflessly to the community. He's probably the strongest and most active D2C (Developer to Consultant) advocate I've ever met and has helped thousands elevate in their career journeys.

And the best part about the Salesforce Partners ecosystem - while I and Rupesh have always worked for competitors, it's never impacted our camaraderie and mutual respect. That's just how the Salesforce community works♥

I'm now a Salesforce Certified Sales Representative. That's #49 for me and the first one after I founded Vanshiv Technologies as well as my first contribution to the #SalesforceDays campaign this year.

While I was searching for my last certification email, I also stumbled upon all the emails I received in the last 16 years when I failed to clear an exam and it's a long list. I failed multiple exams twice and one exam more than 5 times and it only made me prepare stronger and harder for those.

The next time you fail or pass a certification exam, remember that it's the learnings that you take forward with you, not other's opinions about it. I encourage everyone in a Sales oriented role in the Salesforce Partners ecosystem to prepare and take this exam, it will be well worth the effort!
