But showing it off in a portfolio is difficult

Here are a few ways how...

- Include screenshots of SQL queries that you have written and explain the purpose and results of the query.
- Include a description of a project that required the use of SQL, and explain the specific SQL queries and techniques that you used in the project.
- Create a SQL project and make it available on GitHub so that potential employers can review your code.
- Include a brief overview of your SQL knowledge and skills in your resume and list any relevant SQL coursework or certifications you've completed.

Personally, I used a description of my SQL right on my resume

As a Data Analyst, you spend a lot of time working with data on Google Sheets/Excel, ALWAYS make a copy of your data.

And in case you forgot to do this...

Both Google Sheets and Excel have a Version History that you can go back and restore your sheets at any point.

Excel - Go to File -> Info -> Version History (turn it on first if you haven't!)

Google Sheets - File -> View History -> See Version History

Nothing hurts the soul more than losing hours of work on a fatal error or power outage.
