Jackson Holliday (#1 MLB prospect) made his MLB debut yesterday.

He grew up in MLB clubhouses (his dad Matt was a 7x MLB All-Star).

He has been in the room.

He knows there is no secret sauce.
He knows what it takes to succeed.
He knows everyone puts their pants on the same way.

The lesson for all of us is this ~ getting the promotion is just step one, realizing you belong is the ultimate separator.

He won $4,300,000 by hitting the bunker shot of his life.

Yet, Bryson Dechambeau's most impressive feat was off the course.

Let me explain...

You see Dechambeau has always been a world-class talent.

As an amateur, he won both the U.S. Amateur & NCAA championships in the same season.

- He has been ranked in the top 5 in the world.
- He has won 9 times on the PGA Tour.
- He won the U.S. Open in 2020.

Yet, his image was one that fans loved to resent, often chanting against him while contending.

A brash persona, unique playing style, and an outspoken voice have been his Achilles heel and now his greatest weapon.

In winning the U.S. Open yesterday Bryson completed something only three other golfers have (all HOF golfers) ~ 2 U.S. Opens and a U.S. Amateur Title.

Yet he did something even rarer, he turned the entire golfing world on his side.

- The brash persona became fan-friendly.
- The unique playing style positioned him to win.
- The outspoken voice magnified the biggest personal brand in the sport.

You see, here is the incredible part...

Dechambeau joined the LIV golf tour in 2022.

While most players on LIV have fallen to relative obscurity with the lack of coverage, Bryson has exploded.

His personal brand has more than 2,000,000 followers across Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.

So, while his 50-yard up and down was world-class ~ he has also put on a master class of branding building.
