I am extremely humbled to be elected as the Chairman of the Pakistan Microfinance Network by the industry.

I will work towards fostering collaboration among member organizations, and driving the collective effort to expand access to financial services for the unbanked and underprivileged segments of society. I also look forward to strengthening PMN's advocacy for inclusive policies along with improvement and enhancement in regulatory frameworks and will work towards promoting more open dialogues with all stakeholders to further propel the growth and development of the microfinance sector in Pakistan.

Time is running out fast and we all must try to bring balance in our lives. Weave in stuff that makes you happy!

Thank you so much for the prayers and wishes everyone. Ubank has been a life changing experience for me and many others. As the proverb goes “It takes a village to raise a child.” Ubank was in its infancy 7 years ago and was just learning how to walk. By the grace of the Almighty and the sweat, blood and tears of team Ubank, it is emerging as one of the most promising financial institutions in the country. It is heartwarming to see the love, encouragement and respect for our work that we have received over the years. We are truly grateful!

I am deeply honored to have received my membership certificates from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. Qualifying or completing a significant milestone brings a profound sense of accomplishment and joy, regardless of age. As I opened these certificates today, I felt the same elation I experienced 16 years ago when I received my last certificate of qualification.

This achievement has reinforced a valuable insight I’ve recently embraced: perfection is an unattainable ideal. In our pursuit of excellence, it is crucial to recognize that striving for perfection may not always be possible. Instead, we should focus on continual improvement and growth. Regardless of our career stage or life circumstances, there is always room for development and advancement.

This journey has strengthened my belief that every effort toward self-betterment is a step towards true excellence. I am grateful for the support I have received along the way and look forward to continuing this journey of learning and growth.
