There’s nothing like fall in our stores! After seeing how hard our partners were working to make the fall menu launch a success, I knew I had to don my green apron, get behind the bar, and make some delicious fall beverages myself (including my first #PSL!).

Thank you, Skylar, for putting me through the paces, and a special welcome to Sheeba who graciously let me join her ā€˜First Sip’ training on her first day as a Starbucks partner. #ToBeAPartner
This past week, I was joined by our world class leadership team to share our long-term strategy. This strategy will enable us to execute our promises, live our mission and values, and take Starbucks into the future. Much like a Starbucks order, we are calling this our Triple Shot Reinvention. And also like a Starbucks order, the Triple Shot Reinvention is customized – in this case with Two Pumps – an order that will deliver significant long-term shareholder value.Ā Ā Ā
Ā
This strategy starts with elevating our brand, strengthening and scaling digital, and becoming a truly global company. All of this is customized by two pumps of unlocking efficiency and reinvigorating our partner culture.Ā

As we close Q4 and FY2023 with record earnings results and a clear vision for delivering long-term growth, I'm proud and excited to be leading our talented group of over 450,000 green apron partners to deliver human connection around the world for the benefit of all.Ā
Today we released our full-year results for 2021.

It's great to see that our transformation is firmly on track.

I'd like to thank all Reckitt employees for your tremendous contributions, while navigating a difficult operating environment.

I also want to thank all customers, suppliers, partners and the communities in which we work and live, for joining forces to win bigger and helping us realise why we exist: to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner and healthier world.

I had a wonderful time today marching alongside our amazing partners in the Seattle Pride Parade! At Starbucks, we have proud legacy of nearly 40 years of strong allyship. Throughout this journey, partners across the company, in particular our Pride Network, have played a critical role in shaping the decisions we make and contributing to what Starbucks is today.

Starbucks, as a brand, has always been about uplifting the everyday, and we are proud of each one of our partners who continues to foster Starbucks as a place where everyone is seen, heard, and valued.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of Sir Ivan Menezes.

I got to know Ivan 31 years ago in London, when he was already a leader on the move and I was an intern at his company in the summer between the two years at business school. I remember how he stopped one afternoon just to make me feel welcome. Over the years, our paths have crossed in the US, India and finally in London- as two CEOs of Indian origin, leading companies, through a very difficult COVID period.

Ivan led Diageo superbly. He leaves such an incredible legacy. He loved the company, its brands and its people. He was classy, bold, kind, thoughtful and so downright modest- a true ā€œgentle, giantā€ of a leader. While in lockdown, he’d call just to find out how I was; and how my mother was. I sought out his sage advice and judgment on difficult questions.

I called him after he received his knighthood. He was as chipper as ever, and placed the credit entirely in the hands of the teams at Diageo. It’s hard to imagine he is no more. He will be really missed.

My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, and the people at Diageo.
