#Oxytocin, the chemical responsible for feelings of love and connection, binds us as human beings.

Keep sharing acts of kindness and generosity... Let us spread OXYTOCIN like confetti!

Oxytocin is produced in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain. Oxytocin is a hormone and a neurotransmitter that is involved in childbirth and breastfeeding. It is also associated with empathy, trust, sexual activity, and relationship-building.

Share videos of acts of kindness and spread the love and Oxytocin to everyone!!

This is what I call parenting 101

As a parent of a bullied child, I applaud the action taken towards bad behavior. #BullyingIsACrime and is prosecuted.👊

Many kids are taking their own lives, because of bullying.

Nobody will understand the pain and suffering that causes bullying until is your own child.

I'm pretty sure both parents on the video toke the time and talk to the children BEFORE they toke action.

Bullying is the CANCER of our society and has to stop, by a parent or the law.

If you don't like what you see, then take enough time to educate your children to behave and to be accepted in society. Bullies most of the time are rejected.
Don't just criticize a parent who more likely has been dealing with this problem for a long time. He is doing what he thinks is best for his children.
Many will have a different approach, but hey! There is not a manual of how to educate and be a better parent. Don't judge unless you are wearing the same shoes. There is no room for bullying. PERIOD.

Bullying affects many lives.

State and local lawmakers have taken action to prevent bullying and protect children.

A message from the Finnish Parliament......Thank you ❤️

They make it clear. The message says “Dear American sisters“

To all the MEN who have questioned how this post is relevant to a work related social media site:

When a woman gets pregnant and decides to have a child it dramatically effects her ability to work and hence her work life.

According to the US Supreme Court it is men and God that have the right to control her choices about her work life (and life in general) with regards to pregnancy.

Men can choose for their careers (and lives) to be completely uneffected by pregnancy, child birth and childcare - for this reason they are entirely unqualified to be making any decisions regarding these issues on behalf of women.

Rooms full of 👨‍🦳 MEN making decisions about womens maternal rights are what we see in America. The result is a huge step backward for gender equality in the US.

Women be selective about who you will vote for next November.

Ensure that is going to be someone who will protect your rights, instead of taking them away, because your life, my life and the life of all of us depends on it.

Join us now, sisterhood is powerful.

“Negative comments against women or religious will be DELETED.“

Thank you for your understanding.

Pray for our troops...🙌 We need some serious prayers.

From 3,000 to 8,000 USA troops from Fayetteville’s Fort Bragg are deploying to the Middle East to assist with American evacuations in Afghanistan potentially.

Almighty and eternal God,
those who take refuge in you will be glad and forever will shout for joy.

Protect these SOLDIERS and MARINES as they discharge their duties.
Protect them with the shield of your strength and keep them safe from all evil and harm.

May the power of your love enable them to return home in safety.

Pray for their families.

When I decided to start my own business, I wanted to count 1,2, and 3, but I just jumped and has been the best decision ever.

It took me one year to have everything I “needed“ to fully function with my business.

I didn't have a logo when I starting branding myself, so a friend of mine made me a cute logo with the name of my company on it.

I didn't have space in my house or an office with my company name on the door.

I didn’t have a clue about LLC, taxes, expenses, invoices, proposals, designing a logo, PR.

I started from ZERO!

I WORKED HARD from my dining table for more than a year, with only an old laptop, my phone and a light that I borrowed from my daughter each time I needed to record a video.

All I HAD was my strong VISION, INTENTION and GOAL!

Unfortunately, many still on the count of 3 and never jump, their limited beliefs, fear, and comfort zone keep holding them back day by day, month by month, and year by year

Please, hear me out!

You don't need everything together to start the life you always wanted, or the career you always dreamed of, or the business you believe in!

All you need is a strong vision, intention and a goal. The rest will come. I promise you this!

Four years ago I resigned from a very profitable #job. I just wasn't happy there anymore

I didn't have time to raise my daughter, to cook for her or even make it to her practices. The worst was when I missed her elementary graduation. 😢

I was working endless hours without ever taking a weekend off... no spring breaks off... no summers vacations, and so on.

That was NOT a good life for my child or for myself; despite making hundreds of thousands of dollars per year!

The day I resigned I came to #Linkedin. The search wasn't easy! I used to receive more inappropriate dating and harassment messages than work related ones

I was upset that many didn't bother to checkout my skills and my experience. They only came to checkout my legs on my profile picture.

This is when I decided to #BRAND myself and showcase my talents to the world and show everyone WHO I AM.

This was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. A lot of opportunities have since knocked on my door and not only that, my online business has grown considerably as a result.

I created a highly successful digital #marketing agency and a #business.

If you are ever in that position like I was, please don't ever doubt who you are or your capabilities!

You are MORE than a picture or a resume!

Maintain a 6ft distance line waiting to pay for the groceries at a supermarket, this man cut in and didn't realise what's he's done.

The person behind him didn't say anything but just maintained the 6ft distance.

When it was the turn of that man to pay for his groceries he reached his back pockets and took out a note pad. He has forgotten his wallet.

He looked embarrassed. The person who he skipped came up front and told that he'd pay for his groceries as well, which was only milk and chocolate chip cookies.

He thanked them and he was more than greatful for the person who paid for his groceries and went off.

The cashier later on asked them“ why'd you pay for his groceries when he cut you off ?“

They replied with a smile : “ well I hope someday if my dad forgets his wallet someone pays up for his milk and cookies“

Kidness goes a long way. Why not pay it forward? ❤

The man on the video is willing to travel from Hawaii to help...

Until we don't act collective, change will never come. Collective action is often crucial for driving meaningful change in society. Working together towards common goals can have a significant impact on addressing various issues and bringing about positive transformations

Individuals and communities have the power to be catalysts for change. By taking action, raising awareness, and inspiring others, we can drive the changes we want to see in the world.

Be part of it

The Miami SeaAquarium is owned by Dolphin Discovery and The Dolphin Company the CEO is Eduardo Albor (Libera AL DELFIN.) Lolita died in the same tank just last month! Don't allow this to happen again! Please!

Your Vision and Mision states👇

“The Dolphin Company is truly committed to the preservation of the environment and the environmental education of the communities in which we are located, because together we can accomplish even more
We are conscious of the huge responsibility that we have in taking care of our planet and connecting people to nature.“ https://lnkd.in/eUn2u2De
I hope, they honor their promise not just to nature and animals but to us as a community

Thousands of videos, like this one, are circulating across social media in hopes of raising awareness about the situation with the dolphin. Like many, I am just a concerned citizen, hoping that our elected authorities will take responsible action. I don't know much about what's happening behind the scenes, and honestly, I don't care

What I do care about is that we, as a society, need to start treating nature and animals differently. It is in our hands to leave a compassionate legacy for future generations

FYI:Daniella Levine Cava I know you advocated for Lolita, and that you and your county did everything within your power to act swiftly; unfortunately, time doesn’t wait. All marine mammal species found in U.S. waters are protected under the Marine Mammal Protection Act. What can be done to assist the dolphin who was Lolita’s companion?
How can a safe home be found for him? What can we collectively do to support this transition?

I wish more parents could be more understanding of their children.

I'm sure that some of you may currently be or have been in this situation.

Who cares what other people think or say?

You will find a new circle of friends who won't judge you or your child, a group of people who will help you and support you and your family.

Good friends stay...

It is your child who needs you.

Be supportive, because, at the end of the day, family is all we have.

You don't need to engage on this post... I know you are watching it. Above all, love your children ❤️

The way we treat each other is the foundation of a healthy society, And there is not a bigger sin in this world than hate, and those who hate you for loving and supporting your child, don't deserve to be around you.
Remember that.

If you are one of those kids whose parents throw away because of who you are... I'm here for you. I can be your Mama. Reach out! 🤗

A couple years ago, I was mentoring a #sales rep while we were presenting to a client.

When I sat with them, and started the closing process with this wonderful couple, I noticed that his wife was very quiet and was just sitting there holding her purse, that was my first red flag. She was not being a part of the conversation; she was just observing everything from afar.

Her husband seemed to be interested in purchasing our product, but he was constantly bringing up objections on every point during our conversation.

I then started talking to his wife and I asked her QUESTIONS about our presentation and the product's benefits, she love every part of it.

But then her husband interrupted her with another objection.

He said... Money is NOT the problem!

After two long hours of #negotiations and #objections, I finally asked him what part of our presentation he didn't understand?

He then says to me in a very FIRM tone... Listen here young lady, I AM A BUSINESS MAN!

I then lifted my right foot and replied to him in a FIRM tone of my own.

SIR, I AM A BUSINESS WOMAN and the only difference between you and me is that I close my deals in heels!

I then immediately handed him the pen... That his wife then took out of his hand and she was the first one to sign the contract!
Here you go folks... for those people who DON'T understand what it means to be on a VENTILATOR but want to take the chance of going out without a MASK...

For starters, it's NOT an oxygen mask put over the mouth while the patient is comfortably lying down and reading magazines. Ventilation for Covid-19 is a PAINFUL intubation that goes down your throat and stays there until you live or you die

It is done under anesthesia for 2 to 3 weeks without moving, often upside down, with a tube inserted from the mouth up to the trachea and allows you to breathe to the rhythm of the lung machine. The patient can't talk or eat, or do anything naturally - the device keeps you alive

The discomfort and PAIN they feel from this means medical experts have to administer sedatives and painkillers to ensure tube tolerance for as long as the machine is needed. It's like being in an artificial coma

After 20 days from this treatment, a young patient loses 40% muscle mass, and gets mouth or vocal cords trauma, as well as possible pulmonary or heart complications

It is for this reason that old or already weak people can't withstand the treatment and die. This is NOT the flu

Anyone want to try all that out? Stay home and wear a mask when you go out! Stay safe and well!

SHARE IT!

As a proud Hispanic woman, I want to shine a light on the incredible work ethic and unwavering dedication of my fellow Hispanic field workers.

Hispanic workers embody a longstanding tradition of hard work, passed down through generations.

They embrace the physically demanding nature of agricultural labor, bringing a unique passion and determination to the fields. Their sweat and perseverance form the foundation upon which our food system thrives.

Hispanic workers face numerous challenges and hardships, leaving behind their homes and families to pursue a better life.

Their sacrifices are immeasurable, yet their determination remains unwavering. Every day, they rise before dawn, ready to face the demanding physical labor that lies ahead.

Family is at the core of Hispanic workers' motivations. They strive to provide their children with opportunities they never had, often working multiple jobs to ensure a brighter future.

Their hard work serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring future generations to dream bigger and strive for success.

Hispanic workers are crucial in ensuring our tables are filled with fresh produce.

Their expertise in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops is unparalleled. The fields they tend to are symbols of their unwavering commitment to our communities and the nourishment they provide.

Every time you eat a pineapple 🍍 remember that a Hispanic man or woman picked that for you.

They are my people
They are MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, and im proud of them.

They don't come here to rob, to kill, to rape, to insult, or to take your job.

They came to work, for you to have food for you and your family in the table.

DONT BITE THE HAND THAT IS FEEDING YOU.

In our big, beautifully diverse world, it's as if we're all travelers on a global journey. And guess what? We've each packed a suitcase filled with our unique cultures – our languages, traditions, customs, beliefs, and even our favorite gestures.

This is the magic of multicultural communication, and it's more critical now than ever.

Multicultural communication is like a secret sauce that helps us understand and value each other’s rich cultural backgrounds. It's not just about talking or translating languages; it's about tuning into different life melodies, appreciating varied worldviews, and really hearing what others are saying.

Multicultural communication so important because, It's like having a secret map that helps avoid or clear up misunderstandings before they turn into big problems. It's a tool for equality, ensuring everyone gets a fair deal, no matter where they're from.

It unlocks the power of collaboration, letting us bring all our unique ideas to the table, and helps us build stronger, more authentic relationships with people from different cultures.

But hey, it's not always easy, here are some keys that you can implement while sharing content on Linkedin.

Openness is so important, recognize that there's more than one way to see the world.

Empathy walk a mile in someone else's shoes to really understand their perspective.

Active Listening It's about really hearing what's being said, both in words and in silence.

Cultural Knowledge take some time to learn about different cultures. It's worth it!

Patience and respect These are the keys that open doors to great multicultural communication.

Just like any journey, it can be tricky navigating multicultural communication.

We might bump into language barriers or trip over stereotypes.

We might misinterpret things based on our own cultural backgrounds.

That's why we need to keep an open mind, be willing to learn, and embrace the joy of understanding and celebrating our differences.

Celebrate our global journey!

Remember, multicultural communication is the compass that helps us navigate the vast world of diversity. The more we understand and respect each other, the richer and more vibrant our world becomes.

#multiculturalcommunication #diversity #globaljourney #respect #empathy #Leadership #linkedin #communication #people #content
Our negative assumptions about people with Down syndrome can lead us to treat them in such a way that these assumptions become reality.

In sociology, this is called a ‘self-fulfilling prophecy’.

Why not reverse our perspectives?

If we have positive assumptions about people with Down syndrome, we’ll give them more opportunities in their schools, workplaces, relationships, and activities.

And maybe these positive assumptions will become reality.

For World Down Syndrome Day 2024, on 21 March, we call for people around the world to End The Stereotypes.

I started my career in sales when I was 18 years old, yep.. 32 years ago! Same industry.

32 years branding the biggest Hospitality companies in the world.

My reputation helped me to grow not only in the corporate world, but with a life time of clients of my own as well.

I built my career based upon my reputation. I always went above and beyond for my clients regardless whether I was paid for each piece or not.

Two weeks ago I got a call from one of my past clients who happened to have my private number; she sounded stressed talking about what she was experiencing.

I don’t work for that company any longer, I responded, but I will do everything in my power to help you to resolve this matter.

The company and I share the same goal which is to keep our costumers happy and receive the best experience possible.

I called the people in charge at my former company and relayed her situation and information.

3 days latter she messaged me and asked for my address. I told her that she didn’t have to send me anything and that it was my pleasure helping her to resolve the matter; that for me was most important.

Later that week I received a beautiful bouquet of roses and a gift card to one of my favorite restaurants!

When I called her back to thank her for the flowers she asked me what I was doing now that I was no longer working for the company.

I simply said, I own a boutique marketing agency. Today, I focus on helping leaders and companies reassess their online voices to discover success by becoming the voice of their industry on social media!

Guess what??? She hired me AGAIN!

Many of my past clients now are connected with me on linkedin, and they hire my services, consultations or send me referrals.

Do whatever you need, regardless if you get paid for it now… eventually you will!

Sales people often think short term, because they are “self-centered”, focused solely on closing the deal and making their commission or winning the award ( I have a tone of those in my garage btw)

So, I invite you today to SHIFT your perspective and start thinking about “what is in my clients best interest for the long term?” and trust that if you deliver as much as you can for them TODAY, soon or later it will pay off!

Never sacrifice your reputation for short term revenue, because your reputation follows you EVEN when you leave your company!

My past clients are not following a company or a logo, they are following a human being who they trust.

Trust is IMPORTANT ya know?It takes a lot of time to build it but can be lost in a single moment.

Live your truth!
