I didn’t do a lot of professional development as a fundraiser and was always uncomfortable at conferences. I felt like everybody always had their people and it was hard to meet people. Truthfully, I think I always felt a little left out.
Now, when I go to conferences, I get to see so many friends and I feel lucky that they are a place that feels more comfortable.
But I know that isn’t the case for so many. So when I was thinking about how I wanted to contribute to the icon community this year, I wanted to do something that would help fundraisers build more connected relationships with each other in the room.
How do we get people off of their phones and into conversation?
And because everything at Practivated is about building more connected human relationships, I knew I wanted Tivy’s support (but not in the typical way).
Sooooo I decided to double click on some fun nostalgia, go analog, and bring back the chatterbox!!!
