So proud to announce that United Wholesale Mortgage is the #1 overall mortgage lender in America. This is bigger than just UWM… this is about independent mortgage brokers and how it is better for consumers to get a loan through a broker because it is faster, easier, and cheaper. We went ALL IN on wholesale and have been saying for years that #BrokersAreBetter, and now the whole world is seeing it. This is such a great accomplishment for our UWM team members, brokers, and the wholesale community, and I am so proud to be part of the best team in the country.

Very sad to announce the passing of Tim Forrester, our Chief Financial Officer. Tim was an amazing CFO, leader, and friend to so many. He made me a better CEO and helped build this company with me for the last 10 years. Tim made such a positive impact on everyone he met, and I was proud to call him a friend. He will be greatly missed.

Grateful for the opportunity to work with Jonathan Jones and the Real Sports team at HBO to share a little bit about my story. My time at Michigan State playing under Coach Tom Izzo taught me so much about business and life, and so many of his ideas and lessons helped me build our business here at United Wholesale Mortgage. Had a great time playing in our annual UWM vs. Summer Team Members basketball game! Us old UWM guys (including many of my former MSU teammates) pulled out the win together. It was awesome seeing so many team members there supporting everyone and raising money for charity.

Success is a choice, and when you decide to do more and work hard every single day, your business will thrive in any market. Mortgage brokers are thriving right now by picking up every phone call, posting more on social media, and building more relationships with real estate agents. Do the little things now that will make a big impact in 2024 and beyond.

Today we celebrate United Wholesale Mortgage's 40th anniversary! We started this business in 1986 and built it from the ground up with so many amazing people. Has been fun looking through old pics and reliving all these memories. We’ve achieved so much together by always doing what’s right by our clients and team members. Years ago, we went ALL IN on wholesale, and that decision helped make UWM the #1 wholesale lender for 11 straight years and the #1 overall lender for 4 straight years. On top of that, I’m incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built and the impact we’ve been able to make on so many people’s lives… team members, our broker partners, consumers, and the local community. Very few companies ever make it to 40 years or see the level of success we’ve achieved as a team. It’s been an amazing run that everyone should be proud of, and we are just getting started!

United Wholesale Mortgage celebrated Halloween yesterday with our annual Boonited event! It was so great seeing all our team members decorate their areas and dress up, while having their kids, grandkids, and so many people on campus for a fun night of trick-or-treating!

Had an awesome time having lunch with some of our Summer Team Members (interns) today. I always love hearing their new ideas and perspectives that help make UWM better across the board. Grateful for the energy, thoughts, and impact they've already made this summer!

Over 5,000 independent mortgage brokers, processors, and real estate agents are on campus today for our 5th annual UWM LIVE! This is the biggest and best mortgage event of the year and has been awesome seeing so many people together to network and get valuable takeaways for their business. We've also had amazing speakers that have shared their knowledge and tips on how brokers can continue to grow and dominate!

Our partnership with Bilt is flipping the antiquated servicing experience on its head. UWM will be the first mortgage platform where customers can earn rewards for making their mortgage payments – a game-changer for our broker partners, consumers, and the industry! By integrating Bilt into our servicing platform, we are enhancing the borrower experience, creating loyalty by keeping the loan originator in front of the borrower, and providing new leads. I know a lot of people are talking about UWM in the news lately, so I gave my perspective to thousands of our clients and Sales team in our weekly meeting this morning. My quick take is that UWM is doing excellent and continues to be the best mortgage company in America, and will continue to grow/win with our brokers. Longer version attached in video below.

Had an awesome time coaching our annual UWM vs. Summer Team Member basketball game. Team UWM got the win again and is still undefeated, but the best part was getting everyone together to raise money for a great cause and give back to the local Pontiac community. Was great seeing so many team members come together for a fun day across the board!

Was great speaking to so many originators today at AIME Fuse! I talked about how to scale your business and dominate now and in the future. United Wholesale Mortgage also rolled out three new tools that will help empower brokers while giving them more certainty and control of their business.

Excited to partner with Mike Fawaz and the Origna8 team! Mike knew the value of a true partner while starting his new shop, and we are excited to be just that for him and all of our broker partners. I know he will build a great business and we are here to support him!
