When you announce a new role on LinkedIn, it suggests one of their gifs to use in your announcement.

But there are other times on LinkedIn where the gifs can be used, so I've gone to the trouble of making a few templates for you.

I also wanted to show off my advanced animation skills, only using Canva to make these highly advanced and extremely polished animations.

When I approach someone about a role, I'm not expecting them to reply to my message. I'm hoping they will but it's not my right to expect someone to reply to a message.

BUT, to the person at Havas who didn't reply to my message with the subject line “Can we Havas a chat about this role at Linktree?“ I have not recovered from this snub.

Just a “no thanks but good pun“ would have been the softest of strokes my ego requires.

My best work floating around in the wind like a plastic bag.
This will be me when my colleagues don't approve of having fun at work

I wish Linktree didn’t have to have this policy.

To assist our people living in US states that will be impacted by the overturning of the Roe vs Wade decision, we have created a framework that will provide access to:

- Allowance to pay for flights and accommodation in a state that provides legal access to abortion (this can include the payment for a travel companion)

- Mental health support through Headspace and Uprise. Where this isn’t substantial enough for the individual, we may also provide further psychological support on a case by case basis.

- Additional PTO to recover from the procedure

I’m proud of Linktree for doing this but I wish they didn’t have to.
It’s me, hi, I’m Head of Talent at Mutinex, it’s me.

I’m excited to start today but first I have to
go through my first day check list to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything:

- I’ve covered my notebooks in Pokémon contact
- Packed my lunchbox with LCMs and Mamee noodle snacks
- Sharpened my iPad pencil
- Laid out my new suit from Tarocash
- Ready to be 15 minutes early to my first Zoom
- Changed my ring tone to Work by Rhianna

I think I’m ready!

If you’re making people come into the office because you think they will bludge at home, I have a theory.

My theory is that if someone is the type to bludge at home, they’ll also do it in the office.

Instead of going for a nap in bed, they’re playing candy crush in the bathroom.

Instead of watching netflix, they are going to the gym for 2 hours.

Instead of a trip to the shops to get groceries, they are online shopping when you’re not looking.

My theory is that WFH doesn’t create bludgers. It’s not a condition of the environment but more of a personality trait.
