If you did not receive the letter of acceptance yet. If you have not received the promotion or deal, that you have been working so hard for. It can feel discouraging at times. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

🔺Sometimes moving forward requires moving companies.

🔺Sometimes moving forward requires a different approach with your current company.

With all the changes over the past two years I have had the honor of working with people who have achieved massive growth and financial success. 📈They all kept moving forward when things were slow. I did the same and I have experienced the truth of this quote:

“If you can’t fly then run,
If you can’t run then walk,
If you can’t walk then crawl,
But whatever you do you have
to keep moving forward.“
- Martin Luther King Jr.

This quote makes me think:

Your time will come. Do not stop now. Keep taking action towards your goals. 🎯

I hope you keep moving forward today too!

Sincerely,

A wondeful father has been laid to rest. 🙏My friend’s father survived war and was able to overcome all challenges that he faced returning from war, decades ago. He was a happy man and a loving father. He passed away with his children by his side.

My friend was able to share her successful business and plans for the future with her father. He turned to her and said: You made it! I don’t have to worry about you.

This made me think:

I pray that your parents live long
enough to witness your greatest success.

If they have already passed, my deepest condolences for your loss. You have angels looking over you.

Keep pursuing your goals and dreams.

By simply commenting on my daily posts, my friend has doubled her business earnings! She did not even have to post anything herself.🙌 I think this is proof that friendships can be formed within the comments and business can multiply by engaging and supporting people on LinkedIn!

1 year ago I gave this advice to 2 friends:

Spend time on LinkedIn and interact
daily with the good people on this
platform. You will see your life improve.

One ignored LinkedIn and remains in a low
paying job working for people she doesn’t
like.

One listened, and she is now earning
twice as much income.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but I started with zero connections and zero experience in an industry where people reject you quickly based on “who you know”and “how long you have been with large companies.” By BEING OPEN TO CONNECT with strangers, I found the strength and skills that I needed to expand into multiple industries successfully.📈

On LinkedIn we are limited to 30,000 connections. You can stay connected with people who are well connected, by following them.

When you click FOLLOW you are linked within my network. Daily I give back to a selected follower. I give opportunities, connections, and specifics that they need for their career or business.

New people bring new ideas, perspectives, talents, skills, and opportunities.

By ENGAGING (liking, commenting, and sharing) other people’s posts I met a lot of great people. You can too!😊

This is essential for any growing business: Make treating your people well a part of your priorities.🎯I received a message from a young man who was feeling discouraged. He started a position a few months ago and said his boss is giving his time and preferential treatment to a new employee who was added to their team recently. Every time he asked for a meeting to discuss his ideas , his boss would reschedule and avoid meeting with him. But when the newer employee asks for a meeting, he accepts and makes it a priority.

He decided to leave that position and will take all of his ideas with him. He believes it is his boss’s loss, because his ideas (that he did not get a chance to share), were very detailed on how to increase their revenues dramatically. He spent days on his presentation (on his free time) and already lined-up 36 new clients for their B2B business.

This made me think:

If you are lucky to find a good person who is dedicated to work with you; appreciate them and give them reasons to stay.

When you do this, good things happen:

1. More productivity and loyalty. When employees know that their company cares about them, they care about their company.

2. Better customer interactions. Happy employees tend to show their positive mood when they interact with people.

3. Less turnover. People want to stay where they are accepted and taken care of.

Sincerely,
Rachel Mitchell ©

There are ways to make sure you are doing good.

A few years ago, I was running on empty. Back-to-back meetings, endless emails, and constant business travel. I was achieving a lot but was I actually doing good?

That question hit me hard.

It’s easy to measure success based on revenue. But the real impact? That’s measured in people.

So, I made a shift. Instead of just focusing on what I got done, I started focusing on who I helped. In return a grew a large network of smart and thoughtful professionals on LinkedIn.

And it turns out, doing good daily doesn’t have to be complicated.

Here are three simple ways to make sure you’re making a real impact every single day:

1️⃣ Give an extra minute

We rush. A lot. But taking an extra minute to acknowledge someone can change someone’s day.

2️⃣ Share your knowledge freely

You didn’t get where you are alone. Someone helped you. So pass it on! Whether it’s a quick LinkedIn post, a recommendation, or simply answering a question without expecting anything in return.

I found that helping others grow is one of the best ways to do good.

3️⃣ Make decisions with people in mind

In business and life, we’re constantly making decisions. The easiest filter? Ask yourself: Is this good for just me, or good for others too? The best opportunities are the ones that benefit everyone involved.

At the end of the day, doing good isn’t just about grand gestures, it’s also about small, intentional choices.

And the best part?

The more you focus on doing good, the more good comes back to you.

A setback can set you up for big success! A few years ago I was rejected to work on a project. It was frustrating because I knew I was the best person for the position. I was starting to build a network of professionals that I knew was going to be able to help take business to a higher level.

Fast forward to today, I realize that specific project was not the best for me. I was not meant to be stuck in an office with “old-school mentalities“ running a show. I was meant to be open and free to bring together the smartest and most innovative people in business!

What I originally thought was a setback was setting me up to be able to advise more people and expand multiple businesses within the past three years.

I am grateful for the setbacks that have propelled my career. This is why I like to give back to someone on Linkedin daily. I see many people who feel the same way I felt in my past.

I hope this inspires you today:

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it's going to launch you into something great.

So just focus, and keep aiming.
Do not give up. Keep moving forward.

This not fluff. One day, you’ll remember the season you prayed to just “get by.”

And you’ll smile because now you’re the one helping others do the same.

When you believe in the possibilities, this world has a wonderful way of everything arriving on your path at the right time.

When you do your best for yourself and others, what shows up will be beyond what you imagined. Especially when you are active on LinkedIn. Professionals and business owners will find you here.

A friend once told me:
“God will always bless you because you will bless others.”

That stuck with me.

Because real wealth isn’t just about what you keep.

It’s about what you give without fear.

There’s something deeply fulfilling about picking up a tab quietly…

…or sending a payment without being asked…

…or investing in someone else’s breakthrough the way you wish someone had done for you.

And it’s not just money.

It’s time.

Encouragement.

Open doors.

Introductions.

The kind of generosity that changes lives, silently and powerfully.

Let’s make this the goal:

Success that spills over.

So full we can’t help but pour.

If you’re not there yet, keep going. You will get there.

The world needs more quiet givers.

Sincerely,
Rachel Mitchell

Never judge a person ONLY by their last position, title, or workplace. I have seen many people make this mistake. More people deserve a chance to show what they can do. They can be your best hire.
Good news: The right people can find you and value you here on LinkedIn.

Your value goes beyond your resume.

I was judged because someone thought I just produced TV shows and could not help their business. They were wrong. If they looked closer they would see that I produced innovation and business TV and consulted business development that has broken records in growth. By focusing only on the last work position they missed an opportunity to expand their business.

One CEO took the time to have a 15 minute conversation with me and it has led to his company growing more in one year than it did in the past 10 years.

You never know. What you think is a stone can turn out to be a diamond.

Sincerely,

You can stop overthinking and simply take care of yourself. Here are three ways you can start taking care of yourself today:

1. ☑️ Pay attention to how you feel.

This includes what you consume in regards to conversation, social media content, and food.

Try to only consume what feels good, and what inspires you to do good.

Try incorporating more whole foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet.

Listen to your body’s hunger and fullness cues, and try to eat in a calm, undistracted environment.

2. ☑️ Move your body to boost your mood, reduce stress, and improve overall health.

Start small; even a 10-minute walk can make a difference.

Gradually increase the intensity and duration as you get more comfortable. Search “Resistance training” and “mobility training” exercises online, to ensure you stay strong with age.

3. ☑️ Sleep well and rest your mind, body, and spirit.

Aim for 7-9 hours to help your body recover and your mind to stay sharp.

Establishing a regular sleep schedule and creating a bedtime routine can significantly improve the quality of your sleep.

PSYCHOLOGY SAYS:

When you start taking care of yourself,
you start feeling better,
you start looking better,
and you even start to attract better.

Taking care of yourself is essential for maintaining both physical and mental well-being.

👍Good news: Despite challenges, you can increase your chances and attract more opportunities when you stay away from negative people or gossip. I don’t know who needs to hear this today.. but there is a simple way to get closer to your goal. 📈

Once you are free from constantly hearing negative news, you can focus on possibilities.

This is a secret to success for many of us during challenging times.

The business people that I have been speaking with who are developing anazing projects in real estate, sustainability, tech innovation, and wellness; all have this in common: They do not spend time with people who speak negatively about life or other people.

Albert Einstein was a wise man. His success as a scientist has created a legacy from his genius. This guidance is worth considering:

“Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.” - Albert Einstein

I sincerely hope this helps someone today.

Focusing on solutions instead of just talking about problems is the key. 🔑

Sincerely,

I was asked: Why do you still accept people into your network?
My response:
One reason to accept a new connection request:

One connection can improve your life.

On LinkedIn this can mean work, income, promotion, growth, and friendship‼️

When you follow someone on LinkedIn you are welcoming their network to follow you too!

It takes time to go through my requests.. but after accepting one person, it led to more connections. Together we have
helped many companies succeed.📈

This can help you get further in your career, business, and personal life! Observing people's actions can benefit your life in several ways:

1. Learning:

Observing others allows you to learn from their experiences and actions. You can gain insights, knowledge, and skills by watching how others handle various situations and challenges.

2. Decision-Making:

Observing others can help you make better decisions. You can analyze the consequences of their actions and apply these lessons to your own decision-making process.

3. Cultural Understanding:

Observing people from different cultures can help you gain a better understanding of diversity and promote tolerance and cultural sensitivity.

4. Mental Health:

Understanding the challenges and coping strategies of others can help improve your mental health and well-being by providing a sense of connection and shared experiences.

5. Inspiration:

Observing successful individuals can be inspiring and motivate you to pursue your goals and dreams.

It's important to strike a balance between observing and actively participating in life.

If you want to know
someone's mind,
listen to their words.
If you want to know their heart,
watch their actions.

While observation can be valuable, taking action and applying what you've learned is equally important for personal growth and success.

⚠️But it is not what you think..

People need a chance to be hired but you need a better plan than applying for the jobs that you think you are qualified to do.

We are able to efficiently train people faster than ever before. So I recommend that hiring managers remove the degree requirements for “technical and process-oriented jobs” that make up 80-90% of the market.

Allow people to earn income before automation and “Agentic AI” take over repetitive tasks.

These technical jobs are in industries like:

manufacturing,
coding,
administrative work,
and
data entry.

Many of these roles can be taught through structured training programs or technical education. And realistically they can be trained by AI.

BUT it is obvious that AI is developing so quickly that robots 🤖(physical AI) will be trained to do these jobs themselves as well.

SOLUTION:

As an employee you need a longterm plan.

While you are working, move into a line a work that robots are not set to replace as much.

For example:

☑️ Media and Communications

• Public Relations Specialists
• Why: Managing public perception and navigating crises needs human intuition.

Median Salary:
$60,000 - $100,000+

☑️ Broadcast and Streaming Producers and TV Executives

• Why: Developing compelling content and managing human talent cannot be automated.

You also have a chance to own what you produce. This can pay you continuously with royalties for years after a series is created.

Median Salary:
$80,000 - $150,000+ (+ royalties)

▶️ I also recommend that you become a representative for your company and be seen as an expert in your industry within media.

This includes social media, network TV, streaming, podcasts, keynote speaking, reputable publications, newsletters etc.

GOOD NEWS:

You don’t need to be an extrovert and you can get paid to promote the work that you do, on your terms.

You don’t have to be media savvy to get into these positions, if you network and connect with people who are connectors on LinkedIn. Networking is 100% free. You will find the right people here who can help you.

Hint:
You may want to take a look at my LinkedIn profile headline. 😉 It is a bit crowded , but there is a lot to leverage there.😅

But seriously. Let’s give people a chance to earn a good living now and allow them to be ready for what will be best for them long term.

I started with zero experience and a willingness to learn. Today I get to share solutions with people who are where I was five years ago when I was underpaid and unknown.

The future will be bright for you if you give yourself the chance to be qualified for more.

You can be like water. 🙏 As Bruce Lee once said:

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

Empty your mind, be formless.

Shapeless, like water. 🌊

If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup.

You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle.

You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.

Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

I will like to add:

WATER will not burn if you set a fire 🔥 around the cup that holds it.

Water can FLOW
and it can
BE CALM
when uncertainty
is around it. ©

A gentle reminder: you are not alone. There are more possibilities for you than you can imagine. Don’t give up on what is good.
Post image by Rachel Mitchell
There’s nothing more damaging to your growth than outsourcing your worth to the wrong people.

I’ve seen top performers passed over. Brilliant minds questioned. Visionaries told to “stay in their lane.”

Not because they weren’t good enough, but because the person in charge couldn’t see far enough.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Some leaders lead with fear, not vision.

Some colleagues critique what they can’t compete with.

And some clients undervalue what they’ve never experienced.

Don’t shrink for someone with limited sight.

You were never meant to be understood by everyone—especially not by those who haven’t done what you’re doing.

DON’T LET
SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T KNOW
YOUR VALUE
TELL YOU HOW MUCH YOU’RE
WORTH

The biggest mistake I made years ago is the same mistake I see people making every day on LinkedIn.

Thinking you are less than qualified to live your best life. Or thinking you are not worthy of the the freedom to enjoy what you get to do each day, is not acceptable. Especially if you are a hard worker .

When you step out of your comfort zone, big growth begins.

Here are 3 practical steps:

▶️ Expand your network:

Engage with professionals beyond your immediate circle. Attend industry events, participate in webinars, or join online communities to gain fresh perspectives and opportunities.

▶️ Embrace learning from people (especially from people who have done things you have not yet achieved):

Invest in personal development by acquiring new skills or enhancing existing ones. This commitment to growth keeps you adaptable and competitive.

▶️ Seek feedback, advice, or mentorship:

Connect with mentors who can provide guidance and constructive feedback. Their insights can help you navigate challenges and identify areas for improvement.

This quote has been reposted by several of our friends and it sums this up very well:

STOP TELLING
YOURSELF YOU'RE
NOT QUALIFIED,
GOOD ENOUGH,
OR WORTHY.

GROWTH HAPPENS WHEN
YOU START DOING THE THINGS
YOU'RE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO.

- Steven Bartlett

I must agree I was caught in that trap years ago. Today, it is my pleasure to see good people in our network sharing this message and living by it.

Sincerely,
Rachel Mitchell

Your ability to connect with people and work well with a team is powerful. Good news: you have an opportunity to have an advantage if you do not have a resume full of experience. This opportunity is here.

The opportunity is to connect and work with people who bring people together.

Some people like to talk about all of the experience they have on their resume but it is not relevant to the immediate needs and demands of our rapidly changing world.

Old-school mentalities and disconnected managers with important sounding “titles” don’t matter as much as reach, results, and growth.

When you give people who have a positive attitude a chance, you have a chance to attract more success in all relevant areas.

Life is short. I hope that everyone who sees this post claims this prayer. There is no greater gift than the gift of being able to share your greatest achievements with the people who supported you when you had nothing. 😊

I spoke with a multi-millionaire business man who regrets not being able to share his success with his mom who passed away. 😇 All the money does not replace the love that he feels for his mother.

Like and claim this post. Share some time with the people who matter most today. May success and fulfillment come your way this week.🙏

Sincerely,

When you give your best, the world has an amazing way of giving back to you. It is encouraging when your boss wants to see you succeed. Success can be defined in many ways. I like Earl Nightingale’s definition of success:
“Success as the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.”

According to Nightingale, success is about continuously moving forward, growing, and making progress towards something that aligns with one's values and aspirations.

This definition emphasizes the importance of personal development, self-awareness, and the pursuit of meaningful goals in the journey towards success.

I like to add, that it is refreshing to work with people who want their people to achieve a certain level of freedom. Most humans value and aspire to be have freedom. For some people, this can come in the form of financial freedom.

The greatest leaders want to see their people living their best life.

Claim this sign! 👍If you have been working hard and being good to people, you deserve the best! I received a message from a young lady who was very thankful yesterday. She said that she never had anyone in her life help her connect to people in her industry. Her career has had a slow start up until now.

I shared my sign with her. I told her that I could relate. When I first started working I did not have anyone introduce me to people in my field of work. I found it discouraging when I had a manager who only looked out for what he needed to get ahead.

There is good news: despite challenges the best days can still be ahead for you.

By simply being aware of what is best for you as well as others, you can find a win-win scenario.

Don’t stop networking and connecting with good people. You can find people who will care about you.

This is what life is all about.

May you share your life with people who want the best for you as much as they want the best for themselves.

Sincerely,
Rachel Mitchell ©

It is important not to take criticism from people you wouldn't seek advice from because:
1. They lack the understanding in the specific area that you are working on. Therefore their criticism is not relevant or constructive.

2. They may have different values or goals. Criticism can reflect their biases rather than being helpful.

3. They can have a negative impact on your confidence. This can lead to self-doubt or unnecessary second-guessing of your decisions.

4. They may not be meaning to be helpful.

⚠️Some people secretly don’t want others to achieve more than them. Unfortunately these people are usually their worst enemy. They prevent their own highest growth by secretly being a “hater.” This can lead to your confusion rather than growth.

5. They distract your attention from better sources to consider feedback from.

🎯It is best to receive advice from happy and successful people who have the credibility to offer meaningful advice.

🎯These people never feel the need to speak negatively about others. They are the people you see celebrating and assisting others without needing anything in return. They are the people whose guidance can actually help you improve or grow.

When someone gives negative energy it tends to attract negative karma. What goes around comes back around to them. So it is best to avoid taking advice from people who attract unnecessary negativity.

🎯By focusing on constructive feedback from those you respect, you can avoid being sidetracked by irrelevant or harmful criticism and stay focused on your goals.

- - -

Don't take criticism from people you would never go to for advice. Embrace a higher perspective.

When I started to be active on LinkedIn,

I had nothing but a smart phone and good intentions.

No audience. No shortcuts. Just a commitment to help other people grow their sales.

Today:

✅ Partnered with LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube Leaders who each independently have millions of followers

✅ Helped three people grow beyond the amount of followers I have on my personal profile

✅ Millions of monthly impressions for clients

✅ Executive Producer Advisor for TV & streaming series that have been ranked in the top five

✅ Trusted advisor to high-growth brands via Stealth

But here’s the thing…
This journey wasn’t about quick wins or “overnight success.”

I scarified building my personal brand to build the brands of the people who offered to hire me to build them up first.📈

It came down to three key principles:

1️⃣ Build meaningful relationships.
Real connections aren’t built by collecting contacts—they’re built by offering value, trust, and collaboration.

Having relationships with top performing B2B teams helps.

2️⃣ Focus on problem-solving.
People don’t want to be sold to—they want solutions. Share actionable ideas that make their lives or businesses better.

There are ways to save money and time when you are seen by your target niche in America.

3️⃣ Show up consistently.
Growth isn’t about one post or one week. It’s about showing up, providing value, and staying committed over the long haul.

But you do not need to post every day to get grow revenue and sales.

These principles not only grew my platform but also helped me help others:

👉 Executives growing their networks.

👉 Businesses turning connections into revenue.

👉 Teams saving on marketing dollars while expanding their reach.

The truth is: You don’t need to be like everyone else to succeed. You can be yourself and discover what works best for you.

I liked to stay quiet.

I was scared to be seen “personally” on social media.

I was told to settle.

Everyone I worked with (at that time in 2020) told me I don’t need to put myself out on social media.

So, let me ask you:

What’s the challenge that is holding you back from introducing yourself today?

Let me know, and let’s work through it together.

One introduction
can improve your life.

Introduce yourself today.

After working very hard and putting in a lot of time and energy, it is best to rest. I noticed a lot of business owners spending a lot of time selling their services on multiple platforms. One reached out to me the other day and said:

“I noticed you don’t spend a lot of time on multiple platforms and you took a break, I wish I could.”

My response: “You can. The greatest athletes know how to train/prepare to play hard. They also allow their body to recover. This also applies to our work lives. We can become great and ensure that we don’t run ourselves down.

When you give yourself rest, you can work smarter and not harder with more energy and clarity.”

He replied: “I will try to give myself a break on the weekend. I am in rooms with people who are starting to sound run down. I don’t want to end up like them.”

♦️Rest and you can work smarter

Rest can include:
♦️Relaxing in nature
♦️Having a laugh with a friend
♦️Listening to music and singing along
♦️Listening to music and dancing
♦️Cooking a delicious meal
♦️Watching a great movie

What would you add?

Change is coming your way.

Focus on progress and solutions. This will help you along your path.

A former colleague messaged me recently, worried about the changes in his industry.

I shared this with him:

“No matter what change comes your way, keep focusing on the progress you want to create. When you stay committed to solutions, things tend to work in your favor.”

I’ve seen this firsthand.

While producing history series on iconic leaders, brands, and innovation, I noticed a pattern:

The most successful people make progress during and after challenging times.

The executives I speak with daily?

Same mindset.

🚀 They don’t let politics stop their momentum.

🚀 They don’t wait for permission.

🚀 They surround themselves with people who push them forward.

Here’s what I want you to take away:

✅ Change will come. So will progress.

✅ Progress leads to growth, confidence, and happiness.

✅ Everything will get better. It’s only a matter of time.

Keep moving forward. Your future self will thank you.

I got hired with ZERO experience. This is how it happened:
I was watching my favorite home improvement TV shows on HGTV. I did a google search for home improvement shows that filmed in the area.

To my surprise there was one very close to where I was living at the time.

I did some more research and I went in to meet the owner of the production company. I did not have experience but I :

♦️was OPEN TO TRY something new
♦️had a DESIRE TO LEARN new skills
♦️was WILLING TO START from the bottom and show my capabilities

I DEVELOPED THE NECESSARY SKILLS within a short period of time.

I ended up being one of their top producers within months. Without my contribution, their TV shows and special series would not have had the content or funding to exist.

One person took a chance on me.

Here are 3 reasons to hire someone:

☑️ a positive attitude

☑️ eager to learn

☑️ a good work ethic

Sometimes people just need a chance.

I was determined to show my bosses that I could be the best at my job. I made them a lot of money and very happy.

🔺Years later, I get asked to be an executive consultant on several series.

🔺 I also help innovative businesses to have massive growth within a short period of time, through networking. 📈

🔺These three qualities help you develop skills that are transferable into multiple industries‼️

👍You can be wealthy. I was sitting across a billionaire and I realized that he did not feel good around some of the people in his life. He was lacking “peace of mind” and was no longer excited about his main business. He also complained about having to go into surgery again for his shoulder. This made me think:

When we have true wealth, it includes more than money.

I am grateful for our network. We can make a positive impact on many lives and businesses today. I hope that you can experience success too!

Have you ever been bullied at work, school, or among friends or family? If the answer is yes. You ought to know that some of the greatest achievers have been bullied too. This is just one example. I can also relate because I was bullied in the past.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today but: Don’t let someone else’s doubts about you hold you back. They can be wrong about you.

I put this images with this text and created this post with my favorite super hero “Dr. Strange” / Benedict Cumberbatch!
If you Google him, you will see the amazing awards and accomplishments that he has achieved.

Other people’s opinions of him did not stop him. Some people did not think he looked like a Super Hero that can attract box office success. They were wrong.

Someone can be wrong about you too. Please don’t give up on your goals and dreams.

Sincerely,

Being resilient AFTER FAILURE and disappointment, the ability to focus on PROVIDING VALUE, and understanding how to MANAGE AND INVEST MONEY will lead you to success.

The most successful people that I know in business, have these skills.

♦️This made me think about how valuable it is to teach these skills (resilience, focus, and financial literacy) in school.

What I learned in school:

- How to take tests
- How to be judged based on tests
- Structure

vs.

What I wish I was taught:

- How to be resilient
- How to focus on providing value
- How to manage & invest money

What are your thoughts?

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but I started with zero connections and zero experience in an industry where people reject you quickly based on “who you know” and “how long you have been with large companies.”

I launched a “Built in America“ TV series when I didn't “look like I belonged“ in the room. I was also Canadian at the time and not yet an American citizen.

I grew up in Canada and always looked different than my colleagues because I am mixed race.

Not fitting in and being different has always been the case for my professional experiences.

I was dormant on LinkedIn up until 2020. Everything improved in my professional life, physical health, freedom, and personal fulfillment from at point forward.

Here is a secret:

By being open to connect, I found some amazing people. It is important to expand and engage with new people.🔑

I also found the strength and skills that I needed to expand into multiple industries successfully.📈

On LinkedIn, I am connected with top executives and leaders from around the world. This would not have been possible if I listened to the people who told me to spend time on IG and instead.

When you click FOLLOW you are linked within my network. Daily I give back to a selected follower. I give opportunities, connections, and specifics that they need for their career or business. 😉

▶️ This past two weeks, I have seen five people get good paying positions without the need to apply. Introducing people makes a difference.

▶️ More people are getting FREE business press and being paid to be experts on 🇺🇸 TV than ever before.

Networking can help you.

New people bring new ideas, perspectives, talents, skills, and opportunities.

By not limiting myself to helping one group of people, I grew a large network. And you can too!😊

This post might not be popular with my “Built in America” franchise of TV shows family.. 😊 but this is the truth:

Despite enjoying helping garner sponsorship for TV shows in America; I started in Canada where I was born. It all started with my love for “Home Improvement” television and HGTV.

Despite the recent findings and handlings in Canada.. I have so much faith and love for Canadians. There is a spirit about us that stays with us, no matter where we live in this world.

That spirit is loving kindness. ❤️

Happy Birthday Canada! 🇨🇦 Thank you for helping shape me into the woman I am today.

At an Art 🖼 event this week I met an artist who was struggling to sell her art for the past year. I also met a successful artist who sold hundreds of thousands of dollars worth only art that day. This made me think:
We all start with a blank canvas.
Just like art; no one is perfect.
There is beauty in not being perfect. 🎨

You do not need to be perfect.

Your resume does not reveal your full potential.

You never know. What you think is a stone can turn out to be a diamond.

Sincerely,

I am thinking about the people I know who were a part of the Super Bowl Championship this year. From the announcers, brand team who worked on one of the best commercials, and some players.

How proud their families are of what they complished came to mind, when I spoke with someone who lost his mother last year.

It made me think about how it is a little bitter sweet to win when his #1 supporter is no longer here to embrace him after his big accomplishment.

Some people say time heals all wounds. But anyone who has lost their mom knows that the loss is always felt. Especially when you wish to celebrate a win with the person who means the most to you.

If you still have your mom walking on this earth, I have this simple wish for you:

May your mom live long enough to witness your greatest success.

Sincerely,

A connection messaged me that she retired from working as an assistant to a very mean tyrant boss.

She realizes now, that the stress, anxiety, and yelling that she endured was not worth 21 years of her life. She wishes she was brave enough to seek better for herself.

Sharing your strengths and abilities can bring numerous benefits to your career and workplace. Here are three reasons to actively share your capabilities:

☑️ Networking Opportunities: Sharing your strengths and abilities helps you connect. This can lead to new collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and a broader professional network. Networking is often the key to unlocking hidden job opportunities and partnerships that can propel your career forward.

☑️ Team Effectiveness and Contribution: By making your strengths known, you position yourself to contribute more effectively to team projects and organizational goals. When you share your skills, you also set an example for others to share theirs, fostering an environment of openness and mutual growth.

☑️ Career Advancement: Communicating your strengths and skills makes you more visible in the professional landscape, which is essential for career advancement. This visibility is crucial during performance evaluations and when opportunities arise that require specific talents.

Overall, sharing your strengths and abilities not only boosts your own career development but also enhances your contributions to your team and organization, creating a positive cycle of growth and opportunity. On LinkedIn it goes even farther. It is a pleasure to boost careers and the development of several companies on this platform!

I created this post in honor of associates who were working hard and deserved an epic performance this past weekend. I hope they remember to continue to shine bright!💎

“Don't be a hard rock when you really are a gem.”

- Lauryn Hill 🎶

I love seeing people rising to an occasion and brightening up people’s lives.

Hard times, rejection, disappointments, and unfair treatment can harden people. No matter what comes your way, it is important to remember to shine a light on your strengths. I was shy to share my accomplishments before 2020. That is when I started sharing some of the work I was doing privately and behind-the-scenes. The growth has been incredible since then.📈

I hope more people shine brighter today. Our world needs more good people’s strengths reflecting in this world.
