Last week in India, I had the opportunity to join the Semiconductor Executive Roundtable chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, along with Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and MoS Jitin Prasada, where we discussed growth areas and opportunities to enhance the country’s role in the global semiconductor sector.
 
India is home to more than 6,000 Synopsys employees across research, design, and technology development. We applaud India’s policy and investments in semiconductor technology, from research and development, to design and manufacturing.

Congratulations to our foundry partners Intel Corporation, TSMC, GlobalFoundries, and (news this week) Samsung Electronics, who will each break new ground this year as a result of the U.S. Department of Commerce's CHIPS-based investments in U.S. manufacturing.
 
Semiconductors are at the heart of this era of pervasive intelligence, where technology is seamlessly integrated into our lives. Now more than ever, semiconductors are critical to powering our digital world and supporting global economies. The CHIPS and Science Act is encouraging our semiconductor ecosystem to grow and innovate in the U.S., and here at Synopsys, we will continue to deliver the mission-critical silicon to systems solutions their world-changing innovation requires.
