Planet India, which premiered earlier this week ahead of the 2023 G20 India Leaders' Summit in New Delhi, highlights the people of India and their leadership in the battle to safeguard the environment and develop creative climate change solutions.

Initiatives like these have been inspired by the leadership and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has led a mass movement to urge individual and communal action to conserve and preserve the environment.

We are delighted to help showcase and amplify the stories of India's climate innovators, through the work of People Like Us Create (PLUC) and Studio Silverback.

Yesterday, I inaugurated the Berbera Economic Zone alongside H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, President of Somaliland.

18 months ago, we opened our container terminal at Berbera and now the new Berbera Economic Zone is an important next step in the future of Somaliland and the Horn of Africa.

With the dynamics of global trade continuing to change, trade infrastructure must match the needs of populations and customers. Maximising the hinterlands around Berbara means being able to provide services, faster and more efficiently than before.

This is a hugely important trade corridor, and I am confident that our investments will transform Somaliland, the region and the communities that live there and beyond.
