“Simplistic logos are LAZY” 🥱 Really?👇

Don’t be misled into thinking that simplistic logos lack depth and thoughtful design.

Crafting a design with fewer elements isn't about taking the easy road; it's a thoughtful and carefully considered process.

It's far easier to keep ADDING to a design than it is to strip away and still create SIGNIFICANCE.

My approach has always been, “simplistic by design, but ALWAYS significant.“

The brand mark features an abstract ‘E’ cleverly created by the negative space ‘X’ to represent the company’s name Exceed.

The negative space also creates the illusion of an arrow travelling to the right representing the process of exceeding beyond one’s potential. ➡️

By reverting back to our strategy I was able to spot an opportunity to say 3 things using 1. 🎯

Great to revisit this project again.

A fun, young, tech brand for creators and fans to be better CONNECTED. 💡That was the goal. 🎯

By using connected shapes, smooth flowing lines and use of negative space we created a simple but significant brand mark that represent their goal of ‘bridging the gab’ between creators & fans.

Selecting the right colours is also important for setting the right tone for your brand and creating the right kind of emotions in your audience. 👌🎨

Combing all this thinking with some eye catching, contrasting colours that demand your attention, I was confident we hit the mark. 🚀
