I closed 8 clients while I was on a vacation to Thailand.

91% of businesses have a lead generation problem.

But that’s the easiest part of my job. Here's how I'm doing it:

What you'll need to replicate this:

1. A personal brand with at least 1k followers
2. A semi-personalized message
3. A LinkedIn/Twitter account
4. A winning offer
5. A USP

let's get into it

1) A personal brand: this point is self-explanatory at this point. To get a personal brand all you have to do is: Write good-quality content, comment on large accounts, and reach out to people in your industry. Do this for 3 months.

2) Semi-personalized message: See, if you want to do this at scale you can't personalize each and every message. Just make the first line personalized and the rest of the message the same. Your first line needs to have two things.
a)The first name.
b) A compliment.

3) A winning offer: Most of you are underestimating the importance of a good offer.

If you’re emailing Founders saying “I will run your FB ads” I got news for you, you're just like the rest of them. This is what a good offer looks like

We help {niche} go from {state 1} to {state 2} in {timeframe} using/without {XXX}.

We'll be teaching more of this in our next masterclass btw so sign up: https://lnkd.in/dQU-McfA

4) A USP: A USP is something that sets you apart from the rest of the people.

Example: I can help you get to 10k followers in 90 days.

———

This is just me scratching the surface btw, there's so much to talk about when it comes to lead gen so I've decided to do a 2-day masterclass instead where we talk about:

--> How to make lead magnets
--> How to make content buckets
--> 3 lead generation methods from Twitter
--> How to pitch your prospects (with done for you scripts)
--> How to message unlimited people on LinkedIn
--> How to sell your services to agencies making $10M

Sign up now, it’s on the 31st of March: https://lnkd.in/dQU-McfA

My mother had to quit her entrepreneurial dream 7 years ago because she couldn't handle the pressure of being a homemaker and working woman..

She ran a counseling center called Umeed, which was doing really well but handling my brother, sister, and family of 8 was a tough job for her to do.

So she quit and chose us. And it's a bittersweet thing, because it's sad that a woman has to choose between these two things.

However, we all knew she wasn't a quitter. And a year back a little push from my father, she Co-Founded Mobile Pathshaala, a Kolkata-based startup focusing on teaching elders mobile apps.

She said, “The joy on my father and mothers faces when I taught them how to use a simple application like WhatsApp was unparalleled and I I had to take this up further“

I'm just super proud to see her hustling and never giving up, and having that want to constantly learn.

Happy women's day to every woman who is trying to break the bias and pushing themselves out of their comfort zone.

It's taken me 2.5 years to get to 127k followers on LinkedIn.

You can do it in half the time if you just follow these 7 steps:

1) Spend 30 minutes a day dedicated to growing your LinkedIn: Linkedin is easy if you're consistent with your efforts. Just give30 minutes a day and follow a set of steps to ensure good content and maximum engagement.

2) Make the right connections:
follow industry leaders and people who can actually help you. Higher connections doesn't mean higher value. Only connect with those who are active, who you can learn from and who can learn from you.

3) Content batching on the weekends: batch create your content for the week and schedule it so you don't have t worry about it throughout the week. Try out different styles and formats of writing and do NOT be afraid to do AB testing.

4) Consume content: during those 30 minutes a day, at least 15 should go to consuming content. You can only create the right kind of content and figure out what works if you consume the right kind of content.

5) Engage with people and creators: Reply to the comments on your posts. Comment on other people's post. If you like a comment left by someone, go to their profile and comment on their post. Engagement supports engagement.

6) Send personalised notes with connections as much as possible: I understand it's not possible to personalise each and every message, but do it as much as possible. At least for those who you think would be a good addition to your network of connections.

Try this for 30 days and you'll automatically see some results.

Have you started you LinkedIn journey yet?

Whenever you’re doing a task, don’t give it your 100%

Before you guys think I've lost it. Let me explain with examples:

Fill a glass to the absolute brim. One more drop and it spills everywhere.

Stretch a rubber band to its absolute limit. It snaps.

Try squeezing every last drop from an orange + using its zest + rind. You get bitter juice that ruins the drink.

The last 10% always needs 90% of the effort. And usually, it's not worth it.

I realised this the hard way but

Push for 100% constantly and:

Your creativity dies
Your team burns out
Your decisions get clouded
Your growth plateaus

So now I stop at 90%. I leave that last 10% in the tank.

Works for me, try it maybe it’ll work for you too.

My company page on LinkedIn got me $0
My resume got me $0
My website got me $0
My LinkedIn profile got me $50k +

Linkedin isn't just a networking tool, it's a weapon.

Here's my 4-step method for attracting inbound leads like a MAGNET:

1) Discovery- personal brand

Personal branding is the most underrated marketing tool. Use it to get the focus on you first, then your company/services. Steal my content strategy for quality exposure:

Monday- Personal story
Tuesday- video content
Wednesday- valuebomb about your field of expertise (with newsletter plug-in)
Thursday- generic/ motivational content
Friday- case study for social proof (with newsletter plug in)
Saturday- anything you want

2) Action- Funnel LinkedIn audience to newsletter

You can't make all your followers buy, but you can get them to make a small commitment. Make your newsletter a bombshell they CANT miss out on.

(Don't forget to do a shameless plug-in in your posts)

3) Nurture- foster your leads through your newsletter and posts

Establish yourself as the go-to industry expert. Social proof is key here. Remind them of why they should invest in you.

4) Close- Reach out to leads

Set up a call and give your best sell.

Best case scenario- You land a client
Worst case scenario- they go back to step 3 till they're ready

Now that you have the cheat code, are you ready to invest in your personal brand?

People underestimate how simple it is to make money online if you have

1) A laptop/phone
2) Internet connection
3) The will to learn and apply
4) The power to execute

What's stopping you?

Here's what people think procrastination looks like:
- Avoiding all work
- Lazing around
- Binging Netflix

Here's what it can also look like:
- Consuming a lot of productive content to avoid actually being productive
- Spending all your time trying to perfect an idea before executing it
- Taking way too much advice
- Doing all other tasks except the one you need to do

I missed out on 1000s of followers and $20k worth of leads because of procrastination.

But I was procrastinating without even knowing I was procrastinating.

At the end of the day, it's simple. If you're not doing, you're procrastinating.

Here's your sign to stop waiting for when you're ready. You will never be ready. Just do it. (not sponsored by Nike, lol)

When have you procrastinated without knowing it?

I did B. com in college --> then wanted to be a graphic designer --> then started an ad agency --> to now having a personal branding agency.

I literally had more failures than successes in my career.

But these failures have allowed me a trial and error method which has left me with success.

So here’s a reminder that you won’t succeed in the first thing you do.

You don’t have to stick with it just because you’ve decided.

Do what you want as long as it makes you happy and sustains you financially.

Did not shoot content for Instagram in over a month (I have 117k on it rn) because I was going through a creative block.

Took some time off, and came up with really weird ideas for my reels 🤪

One of them includes me cutting out the LinkedIn logo and putting it on a shirt and then pretending to be LinkedIn and personifying it 👀

Breaks are important it’s as simple as that.

Even after creating content for 3 years now, it still gets tough from time to time.

So, if you’re just starting out. Know that it’s going to get tough sometimes and it’s okay to take a break then.

Are you going through a creative block? If yes how do you plan to overcome it?

Freelancing was such a wild journey altogether.

And back when I was doing it was the time I learned A LOT of soft skills.

It’s the best way of getting a taste of entrepreneurship. Here are the few things that I learned.

What one freelancing tip that you’d give to anyone who’s just staring out?

I went from 0-241k in 3.5 years, you can do it in half the time if you understood the algorithm properly.

Hope this helps.

Do you think I was wrong in any part? If yes, what and why?

#linkedin
I have 230k followers on LinkedIn, but that’s after 3 years. When I look back at my 0-50k strategy it was so simple.

- solve a problem for myself (get leads for my agency)
- become a case study (went from 0-50k)
- help other people do it (made content around what worked for me)

I didn’t start making content after I learned something, I did it while I was learning. That’s what helped and that’s where most people go wrong.

Now, I’ve helped over 150 of my clients grow on LinkedIn and taught over 3000+ people.

So before you get into the complicated stuff about algorithm, style of posts, etc ask yourself: are you practising what you’re preaching?

PS: I’m finally back to creating content after almost a 2 week break and tbh I needed it. Back with some more fresh ideas :)

“Hey xyz, I found your profile super interesting. Can we connect“

Do most of your cold outreach messages look like this?

Not only will this generalise you into the herd of messages that no one checks, but it also means you get useless connections.

Here are the top 5 cold outreach templates I use that have a 54% reply rate:

Message 1: Hi (first name), just curious, if I could bring you 3-5 qualified leads per week, would that be of interest?

Message 2: Thanks for connecting with me! As a way to provide my connections with as much value as possible, I like to offer {your prospecting offer}.
We’ve helped a similar company and would love to show you our work. Let’s connect?

Message 3: Hey (first name), we don't have much in common except the fact that you want leads and I know exactly how to get you some.
Can we get on call to discuss further strategies?

Message 4: Hi (name), they say cold pitches are garbage but not this one. I have identified -ABC- in your content. Would love to send an audit around the same. Can I?

Message 5: Hi (first name), just curious, could you handle more new business right now? Or would it be hard to scale any faster?
We have helped (client) to grow by xyz in (specify niche) and we can replicate the same results for you.
Can we get on a call?

I started a challenge where I cold emailed 5 founders everyday for a month for my service. What happened wasn't what I expected to learn from this, but it taught me more than any course could.

Out of 150 emails, only 16 founders replied - some positive, most negative. And I didn't convert any of them.

At first, I felt discouraged. But then I realized something important:

The value wasn't in the responses - it was in getting comfortable with rejection.
Every time I hit send, I was training myself to be okay with someone saying “no“ or not responding at all. This skill has been far more valuable than any tactical marketing knowledge.

The other day, I messaged a billionaire for my services. Spent 2 hours writing the email and ended up getting no response.

Did I feel bad? Not at all. Was I surprised? Not at all.
What's my secret? A simple mindset shift:

Ask for everything. Expect nothing.

When you reach out to someone, remember:
They have their priorities that have nothing to do with you. Every “no“ makes the next one easier. Rejection is just information, not failure

That's the only way to dream big and actually achieve those dreams.
Every quarter, I challenge myself to reach out to 10 people who are likely to reject me.

Because each rejection makes me a little braver for the next big ask.

We're tired of social media.

We spend hours making Reels, LinkedIn posts, Tweets and most of them don’t even reach our audience.

People who have been following us for so long.

We don't want to be ruled by the algorithm that sometimes shows you our content and sometimes doesn't.

The tips, hacks and strategy that we have up our sleeves need to be seen by you guys.

I mean, what's the point of sharing them if you aren't even being able to religiously consume it.

So, we're launching our own newsletter.

This way, we know for sure that our content is landing on your inbox religiously and you're not missing out on anything.

It will be the only newsletter you need to subscribe to, to learn about LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.

To make you realise it's worth, we're doing a 6 day marathon with you.

6 days, 6 hacks, everyday in your inbox. After which, every week on Friday you will receive one email which will always be a valuebomb.

So give us 6 days to prove to you why this newsletter will be a the best one yet.

Best part? If you don't like it all you have to do is hit unsubscribe. No strings attached.

Link is in the bio and comments.

I was studying Netflix's culture deck when I found something that changed how I run my agency.

Netflix actively tell managers to let go of people who are good.

Most founders call this insane. I used to think the same. Until I understood the reason.

See, Netflix doesn't run like a normal company. They run like a pro sports team. Their philosophy is brutal but effective: exceptional or exit.

Their “keeper test“ is ruthlessly simple: “If this person got another job offer tomorrow, would you fight to keep them?“

If no - they're out with a generous severance.
If yes - they get unprecedented freedom in return:

-No vacation policies.
-No expense approvals.
-Complete creative autonomy

When I first read about this, it felt wrong. We're taught to value loyalty, to nurture talent, to be patient. But Netflix's results are undeniable:

Here's what Netflix understood before anyone else: A-players want to work with A-players. When you tolerate “good enough,“ you lose “exceptional.“

Look at their results: $31.6B revenue. 15 Academy Awards.

Innovation speed that embarrasses Big Tech Global entertainment dominance Your company culture is like a garden.

Sometimes the hardest pruning leads to the best growth. Do you think this is a bit extreme?
