Some people come as a #blessing in disguise in your life!

For me, this person is Himanshu Bakshi, CA, LLB Sir! I remember that I messaged him on LinkedIn for a referral in EY on the next day of my result and in no time, I got a mail for an interview at my dream firm! And today, here I am, writing a farewell post.

I feel very sad that you’re leaving EY, but also #grateful that I got a chance to know such a humble person, always ready to help others and imparting wisdom.

Even though we didn’t work in the same team, it was great to interact and learn from you Bakshi Sir. Thank you for the great memories and the laughs we had! 😁

It won’t be the same without you here! But nonetheless, I’m sure you will carry your light and wisdom wherever you are headed for a beautiful chapter of your life. 🙌🏼

CA ke baad life set lag rahi hai?

Btao newly qualified CAs? Aisa laga tha na ki zindagi badal jaegi? Zindagi badalti zaroor hai lekin sirf result wale din par! Life goes on normally after that.

But reality hits hard and we realise ki isse acha toh student life wale stress the!

Not getting your desired job- specially when you’re a multiple attempt CA and your articleship is also not from the big 20s.

Plus relatives are after you- job lag gayi? Kitne ka package mila? Ab meri ITR file kardoge? Literally adds more to our already existing stress!

The job finding stress is so much- you question yourself- bhai kisne bola tha CA k bad life set hai?

Asli stress uske baad ka hai- starting with a job you want with a good package, then stressing about promotions, then stressing about switching jobs because you don’t really know what might interest you 🥹

Always remember that these things are not true:

12th ke boards dedo, life set hai!
Phir, college karlo, life set hai.
Phir, CA/MBA karlo,life set hai.
Job par lag jao, life set hai!

But we only realise it later on after crossing these milestones, that life is never really “set”. Because after every milestone you achieve, there is another one in line waiting to be achieved.

Sure, life gets easy after each milestone, but never settled.

If you’re struggling, please be rest assured that this too shall pass and you’ll definitely get what you desire. Just keep faith and keep moving forward!
