If you can't have a good day, just have a day.

In our pursuit of happiness and success, we often feel pressured to have an extraordinary day every single day.

We strive for that perfect blend of productivity, achievements, and personal fulfillment.

But let's face it, life can throw unexpected curveballs that make it challenging to meet those lofty expectations.

And having an ordinary day doesn't mean it's a bad day.

In fact, it's a reminder that we are human, and life is beautifully imperfect.

Some days, we might encounter setbacks, encounter hurdles, or simply find ourselves in a funk.

It's okay. It's part of the journey.

Embracing these moments and acknowledging that not every day will be picture-perfect can be liberating.

Here's why:

1️⃣ Growth: Struggles and challenges often pave the way for personal growth and resilience. Embrace the opportunity to learn from tough days and use them as stepping stones towards progress.

2️⃣ Perspective: Taking a step back on ordinary days can help us appreciate the little things. Finding joy in the simple moments, like a warm cup of coffee or a kind conversation, can bring immense fulfillment.

3️⃣ Self-compassion: Grant yourself the grace to accept that not every day will be extraordinary. Show yourself kindness, understanding, and self-care, allowing space for rejuvenation and recharging.

4️⃣ Gratitude: Reflect on the blessings that surround you, even on ordinary days. Expressing gratitude for the small victories and the presence of loved ones can shift your focus towards positivity.

So, let's reframe our mindset.

Instead of dwelling on what didn't go as planned or feeling guilty for not having a “good day,“ let's celebrate the power of simply having a day—a day filled with opportunities, growth, and possibilities.

I am broken from inside.

But don't know why?

I am sure many of us feel like this at some given point of time where we have no idea of what's wrong that we feel sad or lifeless all of a sudden.

This is a feeling I had when I gave birth to my daughter. Technically, I had to be happy. Honestly, I was. But something was off.

😢 I was crying.

😢 I was getting angry.

😢 I was feeling as if I don't deserve to be happy.

Yes, I was going through a #mentalhealth crisis. But I had no idea at that moment of time.

But,

❓ What if I had known about the feelings?

❓ What if I had known what to do about it?

It would have helped me channelize my energy. Nevertheless, I did talk, not to a consultant, but a friend.

While it helped me navigate those feelings, had I taken help from the professional, the healing process would have been quicker.

Today, I want to suggest my #linkedincommunity, especially the ones who are facing emotional abuse, bad relationships, marriage, or toxic work culture,

S- Show
P- People
E- Emotions
A- And
K- Kick
U- Unwanted
P- Phase

And,

❤ Talk to a specialist, without any delay.
