Generally, I don’t get too excited being at airports as I spend a lot of time at them, but sometimes you spot things that make you happy and proud. 150 charging stations in Xi'an airport. Well done team!

It was an honor meeting the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, today in New Delhi. We discussed the Government’s ongoing initiatives including Skills Development for the #NewEnergyWorld and Schneider Electric’s long history of Make in India. In our 50 years in India, our operations include 28 factories, 20,000 people, and 300+ patents through our extensive R&D base. I look forward to Schneider bringing even deeper #InnovationAtEveryLevel into the country’s transformational agenda. #LifeIsOn.

Unforgettable return to Saudi Arabia, joining our customers, partners and SE Great People from here as well as throughout the Middle East and Africa. Over the past few days, we reflected and celebrated all the things we’ve been through and developed together, as well the opportunities ahead.

The Innovation Summit Riyadh kickstarted many simulating exchanges on how we can use digitization and decarbonization to help realize Saudi’s Vision 2030.

The opening of our distribution center in Riyadh was an exciting milestone in our effort to be the most local of global companies, allowing us to better serve our customers here. Thanks to all the teams who worked hard to make this opening on time!

The highlight of all these trips is always the people. Many rich discussions with of our many teams, including a group of Schneider females associates. Thank you Yasmine Hatoum, for organizing this event, but more importantly for being among one of the first to create the path for women in Schneider Electric Saudi Arabia.

At this time, some of us have the opportunity of enjoying some time away from work. While this time may look a little different to what we have known in the past, making time for self and, potentially, unplugging from the usual bustle, is important for wellbeing. Looking after ourselves, physically and mentally, should always be a priority – it's the only way we can perform at our best. For those who are taking a break, use this time to recharge and enjoy time with family and friends.

Fantastic to be back in Thailand after far too much time. Another program packed with energy, enthusiasm and warmth thanks to the legendary welcome of our Thai partners!

We had the honor to host the governor of Bangkok, Dr Chadchart Sittipunt, a leader passionate about technologies that will advance his vibrant city. Together, we inaugurated the new Schneider Electric Innovation Hub in Bangkok. We welcome all to visit it and be introduced to an all-digital, all-electric world.

Also had the pleasure to check out one of Schneider’s largest smart grid projects globally. The Provincial Electricity Authority is digitizing its entire electrical network for more safety, reliability, efficiency and decarbonization. You’ll see a colorful map of Thailand in the photos – every pixel of that maps represents the millions of connected objects on PEA’s now digitized grid. These objects can all be managed remotely from the grid’s control room, with operators able to diagnose issues, prevent outages and improve efficiency in real-time.

During my visit, we signed new partnerships reflecting our commitment to further advance technical education in the energy field in Thailand. Over the next five years, we are targeting to train over 40,000 students in the fields of electrical, energy and automation. At the ceremony I was joined with hundreds of students, and shared some words of advice about how they can become the energy leaders of tomorrow.

We also inaugurated a new EV charging station with our partners of Bangchak and EVLOMO.

Of course, my visit couldn’t be complete without engagement with our Thai #SEGreatPeople – a very energetic and dynamic bunch! Susu Thailand!

Back visiting our Switzerland office and catching up with Barbara Frei-Spreiter, who wanted to ask me a few questions about my journey at Schneider Electric.
In the current context, we must not forget our youth. They are the future and should not be the ones that take the burden of the economic crisis. Some governments have implemented strong recovery plans for youth employment, such as France. At Schneider Electric, we have launched the #TomorrrowRisingFund to support the recovery of education and professional training. Focusing on the vulnerable youth, we are committed to train 1 million people at the bottom of the pyramid by 2025.
Pleased to be here at Davos with Cristina Gamboa and even more pleased that Schneider Electric is joining World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment.

By joining, we are committing to net zero operational emissions by 2030 for buildings under our control (either as an owner and a tenant) and quantifying, reducing and compensating embodied emissions from any major renovations and new developments.

Another step towards helping decarbonize our built environment! #WEF22

A special moment to return the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral recently to see the progress of the restoration, five years since it caught on fire and close to two years since I last visited. Schneider Electric has committed to patron the restoration through expertise and best-in-class energy management solutions to ensure the iconic cathedral is safe and sustainable for centuries to come.

A lot has advanced since my last visit here, reviving Notre Dame from its ashes. Many teams are reviving historical craftmanship while others are morphing 21st century technologies into this very complex and beautiful 850-year-old cathedral. Both are needed and we are proud to be part of this incredible experience with Etablissement public Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris.
