🧠 A 17-year-old just built a mind-controlled prosthetic arm—using AI—for $300.

Let that sink in.
$300.
Not $450,000—the current industry standard.
1,500x cheaper. No surgery. No implants. And it works.

Meet Benjamin Choi, a high school student who trained an AI on brainwave data, wrote 23,000+ lines of code, and used forehead electrodes to translate thought into movement.

This isn’t just innovation.
This is a wake-up call.

At IRREPLACEABLE, we believe tech should elevate humanity—not be locked behind a price tag.
This story proves that with vision, creativity, and courage, we can build smarter, leaner, and far more inclusive solutions.

💡 If a teenager can do this in his spare time…

🌍 I never used to think about Earth’s magnetic field.
But now? I can’t stop.

It’s our invisible bodyguard—fighting off a non-stop solar assault we don’t even feel.
While we sleep, work, scroll… it’s there. Blocking solar wind traveling at over a million miles per hour.

🌀 Without this invisible barrier:
• Our atmosphere would be stripped away
• Life as we know it wouldn’t exist
• Technology would be relentlessly disrupted

No applause. No headlines. Just doing its job.

And when it lets a few particles slip through?
We get northern lights. Or sometimes a satellite blackout.

Nature: still the greatest engineer of all. What do you think?
🧠 What other invisible forces are we taking for granted every day?

Arthur C. Clarke predicted the internet in 1964—and desktop computers in 1974.

In a BBC interview, Clarke described a world where:
🌐 People would communicate instantly across the globe
📚 Access information from anywhere
💼 Even conduct remote business

A bold vision at a time when computers filled entire rooms.

Then in 1974, he doubled down:
🔮 Computers would shrink to fit on desks
🔗 And connect to networks to share knowledge

This was years before the Apple I or the IBM PC. Clarke didn’t guess—he extrapolated. He read the early signals. He imagined what few dared to.

🚀 Today, we’re standing in the same kind of moment—with AI.

And that raises the real question:

What predictions today will seem obvious in 2075?
→ Autonomous agents as digital coworkers?
→ AI copilots for every task?
→ Emotional intelligence becoming more valuable than technical skills?

In Irreplaceable (https://zurl.co/J5QsM) and Agentic AI (https://zurl.co/ekxtt ) , I explore how foresight, not fear, will define the next generation of leaders.
And how those who embrace change early—like Clarke—shape the future.

So I’ll ask again:
What feels crazy today but inevitable tomorrow?

Real-time HOLOPORTATION

Over the last months, Takashi Yoshinaga has been developing a prototype of #Holoportation app for Android, also called #VolumetricDisplay. Takashi made it possible by combining 3 Azure Kinect DK together 🙂

Every week, Takashi posts an update on the progress of his work. An amazing journey. The outcome is not yet perfect, but definitely very promising, and involving multiple high-value use cases: tele-medicine, education, remote collaborative work, communication and many more...
