T . . h . . a . . n . . k . . . Y . . o . . u . . sloth showing her gratitude ❤
Take a break from your day to watch this amazing video!!!! This sloth got stuck in the middle of a road in Rio Santos, Brazil until a good Samaritan (the videographer, Gabrielle Araújo's dad!) came along to help her on her way.
The best thing about this video is the little face of gratitude she makes!!!! 😍❤ She smiles and waves “thank you' before moving on...
Contrary to popular belief, sloths only sleep for 8-10 hours a day. They do move, but very slowly and always at the same, steady pace.
In fact, everything about sloths is slow. They have the slowest metabolism of any non-hibernating mammal, survive on a low-calorie diet and take approximately one month to digest a single leaf! Their slow nature allows them to conserve energy.
Deforestation and urbanisation is why they often end up in the middle of the road.
Animals are sentient beings with a lot of real emotions and deserve all our respect and deserve the right to live with dignity! And we need to learn gratitude from those like this sloth.
What job do you imagine someone with the pace of a cloth doing? Share your funny takes in the comments.
