Freelancers are making $10k-20K/mo using their laptops.

They are literally building wealth just by working from their homes.

Here are the 6 tools (cost $0) that can help freelancers in building wealth:

Coldplay only did 5 shows in India and they generated a revenue of 600 Cr.

And this was the most organized concert I have ever attended in my life.

So while a lot of Indian singers say that India's infrastructure is bad, it actually isn't that, it's bad management.

Coldplay had their team organized and managed everything and that gives the same experience all over the world, which local management teams aren't able to do.

So what other artists are lacking?
- They don't pay good money to their teams (Diljit's team recently said this).
- They don't manage everything by themselves. They hire local people and hence the experience is inconsistent all over the world
- Their unnecessary conditions are too hard to meet sometimes.
- They themselves don't stay in India to be able to understand the system better.

But also keeping in mind, that their budgets are very different as well.

But the more manageable it is, the more people will like it.

I think we don't need to be a fan to be able to attend any event, we need experience. Something different, something unique.

And this not a lot of artists do. Except for Coldplay and Taylor Swift, artists sing and go (which is mundane).

The concert market is a billion-dollar market and it will only grow 100x in the future. It is high time for other artists to give an experience that no one will forget.

What do you think?

Last week was pretty hectic.

> Had my birthday,
> went to Diljit's concert, and
> Closed my biggest client of the year.

Hence, wasn't much active on my socials.

But one thing I make sure to do is have extra content on days when things get so hectic.

If you are struggling to create content, do this:

1. Before creating content, write down some ideas or topics you wanna talk about to your audience.

2. Save posts on the go. Whenever you see some good content, save or bookmark it.

3. Now when you sit and work on the batch content, go through all those posts and take inspiration from it.

4. Always create content in detail when you are in your productivity zone. That will save a lot of your time.

5. Make sure to segregate logical and creative content. This way you can use your 100% mind in one category and come up with the best posts.

You will have 5-10 posts in no time.

Now, you can post even on days or weeks when you are the busiest.

P.S. Don't come at me for sharing simple tips. I uncomplicate LinkedIn and social media. So simple and clear writing is my forte.

How was your last week? Share in the comments.

“Work for happiness, not money“

I see a lot of creators and influencers say this on social media and exploit college students for unpaid internships.

This is absolutely wrong.

Yes, I think mental health is important but so is money.

Money solves most of our problems. If you have money, you can buy means that can bring you happiness.

You can help other people do the same.

Anybody who says to choose passion even when you are making peanuts is wrong in my opinion.

I think 90% of people don't know what field is right for them and to figure it out, they need time. They need experiences to understand what is right for them.

Once they do, they find their passion.

Realistically, not many people get a chance to follow their passion because of several reasons and backgrounds.

So influencing people to go for “happiness“, instead of “money“ is not right.

For some, this is an ideal situation but the majority of students/people work for money, to support their families and have a good life. And that comes from money.

Once you have enough money, you can follow your passion anytime.

To all the students reading this, follow your own timeline, not what other people say to you.

There are ample of free resources, websites, and tools that can help you learn faster, gain experience, and make $500-$1000 per month.

And more importantly, you have TIME to do everything. Don't put deadlines on yourself.

So, explore >> experiment >> execute.

Life update: I finally bought my first car. Thanks to LinkedIn. ❤️

I contemplated about this decision for a year. Which one to buy, where should I get it, the budget and whatnot?

After listening to so many finfluencers on how “buying a car is not a wise decision“, I said fuck it. I bought it regardless.

I realized it's not about saving money and taking cabs all the time. It's also about that push to strive better and work harder.

While we all have different priorities and requirements, some things just make you feel motivated.

And this one sure did it for me.

And all thanks to LinkedIn and Twitter. It wouldn't have been possible otherwise.

P.S.: Now, I just have to learn how to drive it. 😂

Share your first car story in the comments. Would love to read it.

99% of my audience don’t know me.

So here’s a timeline of my life and career trajectory:

2015 – I failed to get into my favorite college
2017 – I failed at affiliate marketing
2019 – I failed multiple interviews
2020 – I failed at UPSC

2022 – Finally found success as a writer and started my own marketing agency.

I picked a skill, I was good at and remained consistent.

Lesson? Don’t follow what others are doing, Build your own lane and do what you are good at.

You don’t lack talent, you lack confidence and consistency.

Trust me it might seem time is running out and you are falling behind, but you are NOT.

There is still time for you to explore different things and find your niche.

Stop following other people’s timelines and focus on what you are good at.

There are no failures, only lessons.

I grew from 0 to 40K+ followers on LinkedIn in less than 6 months and 0 to 70K+ on Twitter within a year.

How?
By posting consistently and strategizing my content as per my target audience.

Now, what is my target audience, and how do I strategize the content?

My target audience is:
> founders/creators
> students

For students, I create valuable content so that they can learn and get clarity about certain aspects of freelancing.

For founders/creators, I talk about the facts, case studies, and proven results of my content creation journey.

I am adding 2 more clients for this month. So, if you are a founder or a creator and looking to get leads or build your personal brand, DM me.

We at The Marketing Anatomy will help you strategize, create, analyze, and publish the content for you - as per your niche, and brand value.

And if you're a student and want to learn how to build a personal brand and get clients through LinkedIn who pay you $1000 a month, book a consultation call NOW: link is in my bio. (Taking only 4 consultations this week, so book now).

6-figure $ ARR
200+ clients served
1000+ inbound leads
Millions of impressions

But how to reach here?
How to get clients?
And how to retain?

Here’s how to get clients for your business from LinkedIn:
(And it's not outreaching 100 people a day)

1.    Find your niche and target audience
The first step is to find topics that can attract your target clients or audience. Be it marketing, AI, content writing, lead gen, or entrepreneurship.

After picking your niche, write 10 topics you can talk about within it.
This way you will never run out of content.

2.    Use the right tools
I don’t particularly use a lot of tools. But to stay on top of the game, you need to find relevant topics to talk about.
Ad tools like Taplio or Tweet Hunter help when it comes to inspiration.

3.    Engagement
Don’t post and ghost. Post and stay on the platform for at least 20-30 minutes to observe what kind of people are commenting on your profile. Most of the times, your leads are sitting in your comment sections and requests and you just ignore it.

Look for your ICP (ideal client persona) and start reaching out to them.

4.    DM Strategy
Now if your ICPs are commenting on your posts, they are interested in your work. Reach out to them via DM and identify their pain points and if you can help them.

This is also called selective networking or intentional cold emailing.

5.    Storytelling
Every post needs a story that binds your audience or clients to it.
Followed with a lesson and a strong CTA.

This will stir up the conversations in your comment section and hence, more leads.

This is the most easiest and organic way to get leads from your content. Just gain their trust from your posts and make them see your work.

What is your favorite way to get clients from LinkedIn?

I run a 6-figure USD marketing agency without a marketing degree.

I started my company in October 2022 but have been working as a freelancer for 3 years already.

While I was working with 4–5 clients at the time, I realized I needed to expand this so I could earn and learn more.

And as I got more clients, I started hiring more people.

And that's what made me switch to an agency model.

So, here are the 5 steps to build a marketing agency from scratch (I have used exactly that):

1. Understand your niche

Find what people you want to cater to and what services will you be providing. Become super niche in it.

❌ I help people with marketing
✅ I help CXOs build their personal brand and 10x their revenue.

Exclusivity sells more. So tell people why you are different and what makes you stand out from the crowd.

2. Find your first client
No, you don’t need a website yet. Let’s get to clients first.
You can find clients in two ways — Outbound and Inbound.

For inbound, focus on social presence, email marketing, SEO, and blog posts.
For outbound, do Cold email, paid advertising, and direct mail.

The magic lies in being consistently doing outbound and staying relevant on social media for inbound.

3. Build an agency with JOB

Don’t just leave your 9 to 5 to focus on the agency. Do it as a side business first.
This way you can figure out whether this is something you can do for a longer period of time.

I didn't leave my corporate job until I was sure I wanted to do this. I left when I was earning more than that. It’s simple math.

4. Identify the best clients

You don’t have to work with all the leads you are getting.
Find the ones that are worth your time and are paying you well.

Add good clients into your portfolio to attract more good clients.

I have fired so many clients this year because they didn't align with my interests and it’s okay to do so.
Some clients fired me too.
You should know that this is part of the process.

5. Build a website

Now is the time to build a good website and add all your services or products so that it becomes more accessible for people to reach out to you either for work or to get hired.

Don’t come at me why I don’t have a website yet. I am working on it. Lol
I am just so focused on Step 4 now.

I hope this helps you if you are thinking of starting an agency.

Let me know if you have more questions.

A FREE mini-guide on how to write better on LinkedIn, earn in $$$, and be in the top 0.1%:

1. Design a content routine
Content routine is inclusive of all your daily activities – consuming books, newsletters, podcasts, blogs, and more.

2. Habit Calendar
I always keep track of my daily habits by crossing them off the calendar. {Learned it from Jerry Seinfeld).

3. Short sentences
I always break down my tweets or posts into simple and short sentences.
It’s not only easy to read but also looks attractive to the eyes.

4. Avoid redundancy
Don’t repeat your words. After a point, readers will lose interest.
Every sentence should add value. If it doesn’t, remove it.

5. Use active voice
Make your readers feel like they can make a change for themselves.

6. Research and evaluate
Before writing something, research it thoroughly.
Come up with strong backings to back up what you are saying.

7. Draft it right away
This is one of my favorite ways to create content.
I draft the content immediately no matter how random it is. I don’t delete it.
I edit it slowly whenever I need it.

8. Observations
- When are you most creative?
- Find what time suits you the most?
- Which environment works for you?
- How much content can you create?

9. Create systems and orders
Create various system mechanisms to store your content ideas, strategies, and theories.
Like:
- Notion
- Notebook
- Emails
- Notes

10. Impactful hooks
Create hooks that make people stop and read twice.
- Be specific
- Use easy-to-understand titles
- Avoid jargons
- Tell a story
- Be clear over clever

Post is getting too long. Will share the Part 2 tomm.

5 months ago, I almost quit LinkedIn.

I moved to Hyderabad and everything was a mess.

My mental health.
My physical health.
My personal life.
My work.

I was not able to concentrate or produce good work for my socials.

I thought of taking a break from social media.

And I did for some days but deep down I knew it would be harder to come back and stay consistent and build it all again.

So one day I sat down, wrote 20 posts, and scheduled everything.

Then took 15 days off from work.

My team was handling all the work and I took care of my personal life.

I worked on myself. My mental well-being.

This way I was able to be consistent with my work and myself.

I am not promoting hustle culture.

I am just saying it’s okay to take breaks but also is equally important to make rational decisions.

I didn’t want to come to a LinkedIn profile with no posting in the last month and no growth at all considering this is my business.

So I made a plan, created posts, and took off.

But this is just how I work.

I cannot tell you the reason why I had to take some time off. Might do it someday once I am ready to talk about that.

But till then, just know that it’s important to:
-      take a step back.
-      reassess your priorities
-      make a plan
-      and just be

My advice?
-      You are not a machine. You cannot feel the same every day.
-      But still, people show up
-      Find your fuel that will keep you consistent
-      Make a rational decision
-      And sometimes f*ck up too – You are not perfect.

What keeps you going everyday?

This birthday was different.

Every birthday, I usually decorate my house, wear something fun, go out with my friends, and celebrate the max.

But this birthday was relaxing.

No party.
No crowd.
No over-decoration.
No over-excitement.

This was one simple.

My best friend surprised me and traveled all the way to celebrate with me.

We shopped, went out for dinner, watched a movie, celebrated with my family and that’s it.

As you grow older, you focus on the people who matter and only spend time on the things that bring you peace and joy.

Don’t worry, I am not going to give you the 13 lessons I learned on this birthday. Lol.
Because I didn’t. I am learning too.

This year I am trying to enjoy the process, not overthink and self-reflect.

P.S.: Thank you to all the people who wished me on LinkedIn. The response was crazy and I couldn’t be more grateful to all of you for being a part of this journey. I couldn’t reply to the 1000+ people (forgive me) so this post is for all of you. You all are the best.

I interviewed over 100 people last year and couldn’t find the right candidates.

This year, I interviewed 40 people and hired 13 of them for full-time/part-time work.

What changed?
My perspective and the way of evaluation of the right candidates.

Earlier, I was:
-      Looking for perfect candidates
-      Can do work without my assistance
-      Prior experience in social media niche
-      Had a “hiring slow, firing fast” mentality
-      Who has more experience in social media

Now, I am:
-      Looking for people who have a “can do it” attitude
-      Willingness to learn and work in diff industries
-      Can communicate problems effectively
-      Less experience but will to learn

Some candidates just need a chance to prove and explore what they can do.

Hire for attitude and fire for attitude.

Don’t wait for “perfect candidates”, instead teach what’s required of them.

P.S.: WE ARE HIRING. More details in the next post tomm at 5 PM.
