India isn't Tibet.
New Delhi is not Lahsa.
2022 is not 1962.
PM Modi isnt Pt. Nehru.
Not even a single inch of land will be compromised, unlike in 1948/62.
And as the name suggests, Arunachal Pradesh, like Ladakh, belongs to India.

Enough enjoyment of UNSC permanent seat, courtesy Ex Indian Prime Minister.
Enough of land grabbing by showing power.
Enough of land grabbing in the name of development and lending.

As of now only apps have been banned. In coming time, products will also be banned.

Khatam, Goodbye. Tata.

'Dharma' is the first word mentioned in Bhagwad Geeta.
A lot of non-Hindus get confused with this word and mix it with religion.

Dharma does not translate to religion. The Bhagavad Gita says that the daily action of a person is his/her “Dharma“ A.K.A. Karma. The Bhagavad Gita illustrates the point by saying that a wise man must work, even like a work obsessed fool, but he should shed selfishness, and pursue knowledge in the course of his work.

If you are in a MOB then make sure you are standing for the righteousness. Bhagwad Geeta has only one emphasis and that is Karma. Karma is Dharma.
“Down Syndrome but high sportsmanship and highest humanity“

Para-karate champion Farzad Safavi Vardin demonstrated what true sportsmanship is really like. He was the winner of the gold medal at the 2023 Para-Karate Championship K22 in the ‘Intellectually Impaired Male’ category.

After winning the match, Farzad Safavi Vardin saw that his opponent was visibly upset after the loss. After being declared the winner, the champion raised his hand. However, Vardin went over to his opponent and raised his hand in an act of true sportsmanship.

There is so much to learn from this world.
When egos are low!
When there is no superiority complex!
And when you don't try to do anything special.

Just be a human!

With that note, wishing you all a wonderful Week ahead, Goodfellas!!
In 1947, Yahya Khan and Gen. Sam Manekshaw were posted in Delhi. General Sam owned a red motorcycle at that time which Yahya Khan really loved. After partition, Yahya Khan decided to move to Pakistan and requested Gen. Manekshaw to give him that red motorcycle for 1000 rupees. Yahya Khan promised to send the money after reaching Pakistan. But after reaching there, he forgot his promise.

Years later, at the time of the 1971 war, both were the Chiefs of Army Staff of their respective countries. After winning the war, Sam jokingly said, “I waited for 24 years for that cheque which never came, finally he paid the loan taken in 1947 by giving half of his country.”

The man who destroyed the idea of two nation theory by creating Bangladesh.

Remembering Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw on his death anniversary. legends live forever.

A lot being said about PM Modi's shawl, suit, dresses, shoes, sunglasses, etc.
A lot of criticism about how many dresses PM Modi changes in a day.

OKAY !! Criticism taken.

Wait till 2029, we will bring a PM who only wear one cloth, one design and one colour.

I am not against cricket or any other sports. As an ex sportsperson, I love all sports. But there is something which needs to be called out.

27 years old Lance Naik Pardeep Nain of 1 ParaSF attained veergati in a gun battle with terrorists on 6th July. He was expecting his first baby. 47 years old Hav. Raj Kumar of Rashtriya Rifles also attained veergati on the same night. There are so many soldiers who die for the country almost every month. We share the videos of their families receiving medals.

Till yesterday, our world cup heroes received cash rewards from respective State governments. 160 crore prize money for 22 individuals for winning the world cup. Yes, it's a matter of pride. We have celebrated for 2 weeks. Isn't that enough?

We lost two soldiers just a day before. Do we have time to mourn for one hour? What will our fallen soldiers get? Pension, medal, some cash benefits. Life is lost forever. Why? To defend the country. He knew he wouldn't get 160 crore or even remembrance from the country. Still volunteered to sacrifice his life. FOR WHAT?

I know I am always critical. But I am getting too restless because 99.99% of India is still celebrating a commercial event and no one has even 2 mins for ........I don't want to say much. Just think.

Have a great week ahead.

Yesterday's rain took me to a life i used to live a few years back.
You see these men on bikes? One of them is me, a salesman, 14 years back.
I used to stand under the tree or flyover if it ever rained during the sales call. With fellow salesmen around, we used to chit chat.
Wearing a jacket in summers so that the light color shirt doesn't get dirty.
Carrying a cheap deodorant in my bag all the time. Spraying it before entering the meeting.

Alot has changed but once a saleman, always a salesman. Loud shouts for all the folks in sales. And I meant real sales not the excel sales sitting in AC and traveling in airplane. #Salesman #Sales

Lieutenant General Ananthanarayan Arun (YSM, SM, VSM) has some words to say.
26th July is celebrated as #KargilVijayDiwas. But today I will take you to when it all started. 15th May 1999. Today I will talk about 22 year old Capt Saurabh Kalia.

The Indian Army had some information about infiltration in Kaskar Sector in Ladakh mountain. Capt Kalia and five other soldiers – Sepoys Arjun Ram, Bhanwar Lal Bagaria, Bhika Ram, Moola Ram and Naresh Singh of the 4th Jat Regiment were asked to patrol the area. The 6 were ambushed by Pakistani Rangers and a gun fight broke out. Out of ammunition, the 6 were captured on 15th May 1999. From 15th May till 7th June they were tortured and their bodies were handed over to the Indian army on 9th June.

Post-mortem examinations conducted by India reported that the prisoners variously had cigarette burns, ear-drums pierced with hot rods, many broken teeth and bones, fractured skulls, eyes that had been punctured before being removed, cut lips, chipped noses, and amputated limbs and genitalia. According to the examinations, these injuries preceded the captives being shot dead in the head.

Captain Kalia's father is still fighting his case in accordance with the Geneva convention. I promise you will cry if you read the post mortem report of Capt Kalia. You should still read the torture he was subject to. Humanity will be ashamed of the term humanity if there is any.

Remembering all the 527 martyrs of the Kargil war on this day. We may not know what it takes to stand there and guard. But forever indebted. #KargilVijayDiwas

Pakistan till date has produced one single beautiful mind. The only Nobel Laureate from Pakistan but was thrown out of Pakistan because of new constitution which states Ahmedias as non muslim. Ofcourse, any country would own such mind and he later spent his life in London, UK. His name was Dr. Abdus Salam.

Dr. Abdus Salam shared Nobel Prize in 1979 for his contribution to the electroweak unification theory. After this he requested the Indian government to find Professor Anilendra Ganguly, who had taught him mathematics in the pre-partition era at the Sanatan Dharma College in Lahore. Salam had credited Ganguly for instilling the interest towards mathematics in him, which, he believed, led him to become a scientist. Salam had to wait for two years to meet his teacher and finally came to India on 19 January 1981 to pay his respects to Professor Ganguly who had shifted to Kolkata after the independence. Upon meeting him at his residence in South Kolkata, Salam dedicated his Nobel Prize medal to Professor Ganguly, who had grown very old at that time and was unable to even sit up. Dr. Salam dedicated his Nobel prize to professor Ganguly by saying, “It’s Your Prize Sir, Not Mine“. Dr. Abdus Salam was a great scientist and moreover a great human who remembered his Guru even after becoming a global name.

There are so many people in our lives who contribute to our success but we tend to forget them once we reach where we want to reach. Never forget your roots and be thankful to everyone who gave you even one lesson of life. With that note, wishing you all a wonderful week ahead GoodFellas !!

Zindagi Jhandwa, phir bhi ghamandwa!!

Amitabh Bacchhan jee once said that no one is a bigger name than Ravi Kishan in Bhojpuri Film Industry.

Ravi Kishan owns 5 luxury cars.
He owns around 6 flats in Mumbai and multiple agriculture land in UP.
He has worked in multiple movies for which he gets royalty every month.
Currently he is Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur Seat.

His daughter has joined the Indian Army under the Agniveer Scheme and will be serving the force for 4 years.

It was easiest for Ravi Kishan to send her daughter to acting school and launch her as an actress in the industry. But his daughter chose to be in NCC first and then join the Army. She won't get any preferential life in the Army. She will have to serve the way other Agniveers will serve.

I think it is a lesson for all those parents who send their kids to Kota and want their kids to join IIT.

Let your kids decide their future.

They said Bharat couldn't and we did it. I am loving it.

Yesterday, UPI crossed 10 billion monthly transactions.

I am just loving it.

UPI was launched in April 2016, just before Demonetisation. Mere coincidence or well planned execution? But that is not the topic.

When UPI was launched it was heavily criticised by the ex Finance Minister of India who was not having a good time sitting in opposition. The RBI governor wasn't too happy with the instrument and had to leave before Demonetisation. And today, UPI is the most preferred payment method in India. Not only that, UPI has crossed borders as well.

But I am still loving it.

A finance minister for 8 years on record said UPI would be a failure. A RBI governor who has multiple degrees in economics could not envisage the vision of UPI but a CHAIWALA who is criticised for his education, could visualise everything crystal clear. Jan Dhan accounts to UPI to demonetisation to fake currency rackets.

I am loving it even more.

Degree Vs Chaiwala
Family Vs Chaiwala
Harvard Vs Chaiwala
Massachusetts Vs Chaiwala
I.N.D.I.A vs Chaiwala

Who is having the last laugh now?

At Tokyo 2020(2021 due to Covid), he broke three world records in 3 back to back throws. He was 23 years old at that time.

Then in 2023 he broke his own world record.

Yesterday, he broke his previous records from Tokyo Olympics and that too twice. That's India's start Javelin thrower Shri Sumit Antil Jee. He is a #Legend

Olympics is one level and Paralympics is a different level. Not just for Indian athletes but all the athletes who compete at the Paralympics games are just amazing. All of them.

They may have cried a day.
They may have few questions for God.

But BUT BUT...

NO DRAMA.
NO PROTEST.
NO COMPLAINTS.
NO EXCUSES.

Only performance.
Only medals.

Celebrate them all !!!

#Congratulations to Shri Yogi Adityanath Jee and PM Narendra Modi Jee for the stunning victory and winning UP once again. This would be the first time ever that Uttar Pradesh will see a Chief minister for two consecutive term.

This win has ensured that people voted for development, law and oder and safety. Congratulations once again.

There is a new debate in the market which is going on after Rishi Sunak became the PM of the United Kingdom. “If a Hindu can become a prime minister of the UK then why can't a minority become prime minister of India?“ First of all India has seen Sikh prime ministers and Muslim president as well. I am assuming that people want to know whether a Muslim can become prime minister of India or not. Basically, in India Minority term is used for my Muslim brothers and I have no idea why.

Here is the answer. Rishi Sunak became PM because he is a good leader. His country saw him as a good leader irrespective of his religion, creed, and caste. Rishi Sunak talked about the UK and not about Hindus or minorities in the UK. In India, religious politics started in 1883 by Syed Ahmed Khan when he gave the two nation theory and later Muhammad Ali Jinnah along with couple of Indian leaders took the same theory and broke India into two pieces.

Coming back to the point, any leader who talks about India and India first is the one who will have the opportunity to become PM of INDIA. Till the time politicians keep talking about minorities, appeasement, caste, etc, they will have no chance to become the PM of India. Even if he/she is from the majority population.

Ironically, all the next PM qualities are from the ruling party. So let's wait till we have another leader who can challenge the current government.

Today, is my last working day at the #YESBank. I remember before joining YBL people asked me, why YES Bank. I only said because of my gut feeling. I just felt I should go there. But today I can precisely tell you why YES bank.

-YES bank gave me the freedom to work the way I wanted.
-YES bank gave me the opportunity to work with the seasoned bankers and learn from their experiences.
-YES bank gave me one of the best culture to work.
-Yes bank never interfered in my personal life and let me manage the work life balance.
-YES bank never asked me to come for a conference call after office hours.
-YES bank never asked for useless weekly reviews just for sake of it.

So all and all, it was a great experience and great learning.

Why am I leaving YES Bank if it's so good? Because I am more a start up guy and the day I got the opportunity to go back to start up I grabbed it. I will start my new journey tomorrow. I am super excited and will update about the move shortly. Have heavy heart but I have to go.

Lastly, want to say thanks to all the leaders, my colleagues at YBL and YES Bank itself for giving me this exciting opportunity. Cheers !!

#Bharat has no competition when it comes to innovation.

Burning neem leaves and smoke coming out of it kills insects, mosquitoes and germs. A simple innovation from rural India to keep insects away from cows.

Now few would come saying, “POLLUTION“. Stop driving your cars. If Car is your necessity then this is their necessity.

What is the meaning of good #governance ?
What is the meaning of #Intent and Intention to work?
What is the meaning of #corruption free government?

Kanpur is one of the most congested and densely populated city in India (possibly most polluted and dirtiest too) but the way government competed Kanpur Metro train project is just astonishing.

Construction of the red line begun on 15 November 2019 with the 9 km stretch from IIT Kanpur to Moti Jheel and this line was inaugurated by PM Modi on 28th December 2021. Isnt it just wow? Just compare the same project with Mumbai Metro Rail project, Bangalore Metro Rail project and any other Metro Rail project in India. You will see the difference.

How life takes a U turn?

Exactly 7 years ago I was working for a company called Matrix Cellular and I was handling a key account called Cairn Energy. I knew almost every senior employee of Cairn and used to visit there every day to deliver a Sim card/ data card. They happened to sit in a wonderful office in Golf Course road ( Paras Twin Tower). I was living a tough sales man's life then and always thought of working in a office like Cairn's. Today after 7 years, Razorpay moved to the same building where Cairn was and now I don't go there as a salesman but an employee( for a different company of course)

It's very important to work hard but without having faith in God and blessings of parent's, teacher's and elder's we can't achieve anything. Thank God for everything that you have and keep collecting blessings of elders. #CoWrks CoWrks
The Brihadeeswara Temple in Thanjavur is the greatest structure ever built. Do you know why?

The architecture used is the interlock method where no cement, plaster or adhesive was used between the stones. These interlocks were stolen by invaders but few still remain to give the testimony of what kind of engineering was used more than 1000 years ago. It has survived 1000 years and 6 earthquakes even after stolen interlocks.

The Mandir tower at 216 feet was likely the tallest in the world at the time.
The other structures built using this method Big Ben and Leaning Tower of Pisa are tilting with time. The Temple which is way older has zero degree inclination.
1.3 lakh ton of granite was used to build the Temple which was transported by 3000 elephants from 60 kms away.

The Temple was constructed without digging the earth.

The Kumbham or the head of the Temple tower weighs 81 tons and is carved from a single piece of granite. No one knows how it was pulled up to 200 feets without a crane or modern equipment.

Nothing ever comes close to the level of engineering used to construct the Brihadeeswara Mandir. There is nothing quite like it and there will never be something quite like it. Raja Raja Chola was a visionary. We must treasure this timeless marvel.

If you could show me one structure matching the engineering level of Brihadeeswarar Temple then I promise I will show you a walking dinosaur.

Bye Bye Hindenburg Research. Apki bahut yaad ayegi!

Do you remember Ravish Kumar was searching for Hindenburg at the banks of the Hindon river in Ghaziabad? Now what? Senseless reporting. The opposition party of India read Hindenburg Research as the holy grail.
I was still supporting Adani because even if he did something wrong, he is still an Indian and working for the development of India.

The target was not Adani but the target was India and the Indian economy and to make money.

Ever thought what if Adani had surrendered to Hindenburg? Today Adani, tomorrow Ambani, then Airtel, then Tata, then someone else. These 5 employee companies would be releasing their reports every month to dent India's economy.

But hats off to Gautam Adani who stayed on the front foot and defended every attack.

Lastly, Jai Hind. Jai Bharat. Jai Israel

We know how great Akbar was via various Bollywood movies.

We all have read in history books about how great Mughals were and their contribution to build Bharat.

But there were greater leaders and warriors who got no space in the history books because some historians did not want to give any importance to such legends. One such warrior was Kondazi Farzand.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj wanted to conquer Panhala Fort. But after the demise of Tanaji Malusare he did not want to lose any other warrior from his army. This is when a follower of Tanaji came forward. His name was Kondazi Farzand. Kondazi took the responsibility to conquer Panhala Fort. Shivaji Maharaj asked him “How many men do you need with you to capture Panhala? 1000, 2000, 5000? Kondazi replied, “I need 60 skilled Marathas“
60 Marathas then attacked Kondazi and defeated an army of 2500 Mughals who were sitting on top. It took them just 4 hours to conquer Panhala Fort.

Even today, with internet penetration and social media ruling, you do not have a single article on Kondazi Farzand. His name is not mentioned in any history book other than local Maratha books. ZERO!! I don't think there is any Wikipedia page either.

This was the I.N.D.I.A. we were living in.

Starting your day with some positivity.

Zindagi Zindabad.

The Kashi Vishwanath.
WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA.
We all talk about fundamental rights. But we never talk about fundamental duties.

Tourists from Punjab, Haryana, UP, Delhi visit Uttarakhand and Himachal for vacations. But throw liquor bottles and wrappers in the hills. Fundamental right to litter but where is fundamental duty to protect the nature?

Protesters block national highways for their unreasonable demands. Millions of civilians suffer because of these actions. Fundamental right to protest but where is fundamental duty?

People take our tractor rally on 26th January and beat the cops with sticks. Remove the national flag from The Red Fort. Fundamental right to vandalism but where is fundamental duty?

Tukde-tukde slogans raised from JNU. Freedom of speech but where is fundamental duty?

The difference between Japan, Europe, the USA and India is not the education. You think those who drive a 50 lakh SUV and block Atal Tunnel are not educated?
The difference is that those living in evolved societies think more about their duties than their rights.

Start doing your duties more and talk about fundamental rights less.

With that note, wishing you all a wonderful week ahead GoodFellas!!

Major Mohit Sharma (AC) also known as Iftikar Bhatt, who lived with terrorists and neutralised them.

Kupwara Operation: 21st March 2009

On 21st March 2009, intelligence agencies informed the Army about the infiltration attempt by some terrorists in Kupwara district. Maj Mohit Sharma was tasked to lead the Bravo Assault Team against the infiltrating terrorists in dense Haphruda Forest.

On reaching the spot, Bravo team was fired upon by the terrorists from three directions. In the heavy exchange of fire, four commandos got wounded. Without considering his personal safety, Maj Mohit Sharma crawled and recovered two soldiers to safety. Along with him Paratrooper Shabir Ahmad swung into action and moved his injured buddy to safety. What followed was nothing less than god mode.

Displaying commendable courage and dare-devilry, Ptr Shabir Ahmad used his field-craft skills to take on the militants. He crawled forward and charged at the militants lobbing grenades at them. During this process, he sustained serious gunshot wounds. But without caring for his own safety, he continued his charge and killed another terrorist in hand to hand combat. On the other side, Maj Mohit Sharma, continuing the operation, threw grenades and managed to kill two terrorists. However during the exchange of fire Maj Mohit got hit in the chest. To ensure safety of his fellow troopers and in a rare display of raw courage and determination charged at the terrorists, Maj Mohit Sharma killed two more terrorists in a close combat.

Later Major Mohit Sharma and Ptr Shabir Ahmad succumbed to their injuries and attained Veergati. Maj Mohit Sharma was awarded the nation’s highest peace time gallantry award, “Ashok Chakra” for his act of conspicuous gallantry.
Ptr Shabir Ahmad Malik was awarded the nation’s second-highest peace-time gallantry award “Kirti Chakra” for his extraordinary bravery, fighting spirit and devotion to duty.

Remembering Major Mohit Sharma and Ptr Shabir Ahmed on the day they attained Veergati. Ironically it is Ptr Shabir Ahmed's birthday as well.

OH MAH MAH!! Saif, Kareena, Ranbir., Alia with PM Modi!! MAH MAH!!

Do you know who was Nand Singh? He was the only person in the annals of history to have won Victoria Cross and MahaVir Chakra(P).

I am deliberately not using his rank here because that rank has been abolished by the Indian Army.

Nand Singh was a part of 1/11th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army who took part in World War II. He led his section up a very steep ridge under very heavy machine-gun and rifle fire and although wounded in the thigh, captured the first trench. He then crawled forward alone and, wounded again in the face and shoulder, nevertheless captured the second and third trenches. For this extreme courage and bravery, he was awarded Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the British Army.

But this was not it!!!

In 1947-48, when Pakistan attacked the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Nand Singh's post in Uri was ambushed by Mujahids and was tasked to lead a counter attack. In a close combat he killed 5 enemies but in the act he was heavily wounded due to machine gun burst and perhaps attained Veergati there. His mutilated body was captured by the Pakistani soldiers. The only way he was identified was by his Victoria Cross Ribbon. His body was taken Muzaffarabad where it was tied on a truck and dragged through the city with a loudspeaker proclaiming that this would be the fate of every Indian Victoria Cross awardee. The soldier's body was later thrown into a garbage dump, and was never recovered.

THATS HOW CROSS BORDER ILU ILU TREATED OUR SOLDIERS.

He was awarded Mahavir Chakra(P) for his unparalleled bravery. Remembering, twice bravest of the brave, the Legend Nand Singh on the day he attained Veergati.

I was sitting with a friend today who asked me an innocent question. He asked me if Krishna is an Avatar(incarnation) of Vishnu, then why didn't he just finish the Kauravs and handover the kingdom to Pandavs.

Here is the answer.

First of all, it was not Shri Krishna's duty or Karma to fight someone else's war. He took avatar to eliminate Kans. He did it and his duty had finished.

Second, being an incarnation of Vishnu, Shri Krishna wanted to restore righteousness (dharma) and eliminate the forces of adharma (unrighteousness). The war was seen as a means to establish justice and dharma by defeating the Adharma(Kauravs). He let freewill of the humans to take a decision and allowed individuals to make their own choices and face the consequences of their actions.
