Imagine Jesus was on LinkedIn for a week.

What would His posts look like? Let's go 🚀 😂

MONDAY– Motivational Monday

➖New week, new opportunities to serve! Just a reminder: The greatest among you must be a servant. Last week, I washed my disciples' feet. Leadership isn’t about position—it’s about service. Who are you lifting today?

TUESDAY– Testimonial Tuesday

➖I’m thrilled to announce that I just raised a man from the dead! Here’s how I did it:

- Empathy – I wept with his family. Leadership isn’t just about solutions; it’s about connection.

-Faith in action – I spoke with authority: “Lazarus, come out!” (John 11:43) Sometimes, all it takes is one bold step.

-A strong network – I asked others to roll away the stone. Miracles happen in community.

If you’re facing a ‘dead situation,’ remember: It’s never over until I say so!

WEDNESDAY– Wisdom Wednesday

What does it profit a person to gain the whole world but lose their soul? Think long-term—invest in what truly matters. Does that 'japa' plan matter?

THURSDAY– Thought Leadership Thursday

Many of you are talking about ‘networking up.’ But have you considered networking down?

One time, I had dinner with tax collectors and outcasts (Luke 5:29-32). People judged me, but guess what? Their lives were changed.

Sometimes, your greatest connections are the ones society overlooks. Reach out today!

FRIDAY– Faith & Finance Friday

I was asked about taxes this week. Here’s my take: ‘Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.’ (Matthew 22:21)

Pro tip: I once covered a friend’s tax bill by pulling money from a fish’s mouth. Miracles > Worry.

SATURDAY– Social Impact Saturday

Just spent the day feeding 5,000+ people. It started with a little boy’s lunch—five loaves and two fish. When you bring what you have, I multiply it.

Don’t wait for the ‘perfect’ resources before making an impact. Start with what’s in your hands!

SUNDAY– Reflection Sunday

I rested on Sunday, you should too. First of, drop your phone and go to church. I didn't say you should connect on YouTube, I mean you should go to church. If Paul was in your generation he'd have said a lot.

Which one is your favorite? For me it's Tuesday, when he raised Lazarus from the dead. It's forever iconic.

Happy Sunday brethren and sisthren ☦️

When you japa expect a lot of annoying things 🥲📍

➖Someone from Nigeria calls you by 8 pm, but it's 3 am in Japan, and you can't take the call because you are asleep.

➖Then you wake up to loads of messages such as

🗣Just abroad that you went to, you don get pride

🗣Pride goes before a fall oo

🗣 I knew it na poverty make you humble, now we don see your true colours

🗣️ Some people too do oo

🗣️ Small money wey touch your hand, you've forgotten your humble beginnings

⏭️I have two messages

➖To the Japarer-please develop a thick skin. Explain to those that are deserving of it and leave the rest ( na abroad you go, you no kill person). All in all, make sure you don't get proud ( na only abroad, no be heaven 🙏🏾)

➖To the non-japarer-please be considerate. It's so cold outside (figuratively and literally). Life abroad is not like that in Nigeria. Those abroad could use some warm words from you. Understand that not everything is pride.

P.S. Stop calling your friend abroad, fake or proud. We are not fourteen(14) years old anymore. People have responsibilities 🙏🏾or you call them “stingy/wicked “ because they don't send you money every time you ask.

So I officially introduce new registers “japarer“ and “non-japarer“ to the migration dictionary 😂📍

When I started putting out “Japa“ contents on LinkedIn I just wanted to be that “little“ girl who...

I wanted to be that little girl who would change the narrative around “Japa“ and migration.

At the time I was doing my final year project, I interviewed a lot of people and I knew that as a people we have a long way to go because we are just japa-ing without a sense of direction.

So, I just wanted people to really understand the two sides of migration which would help them make informed decisions.

I didn't know there was such a thing as:

➖Travelling abroad to speak in conferences as a historian and migration researcher.

➖Foreign brands reaching out to you to represent them as an ambassador

➖Being invited to speak to young people both physically and virtually

➖I honestly didn't know that these things happen until they started happening to me.

I didn't come here for jobs, money, clients etc because I didn't know it was a thing. I just posted and I was just happy with the fact that I was changing the narrative one person at a time.

Just imagine I didn't start? Nobody would have known me today. I'd not have all these benefits I listed above.

Now, imagine you don't start? Nobody will know you tomorrow.

Look for that one thing you're good at, just keep at it.The benefits are beyond what you'll ever imagine at the onset.

It might look foolish now but take my word for it, it'll pay off soon. Keep going 🔥

What brought you to LinkedIn? Honest answers only.

For me , I came to teach! From free teaching, money started coming in and I love it here.

I'm at the point where my email is like one of my major social media platform

My top socials? Email, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X. And honestly, I check my email almost all the time.

➖I remember reading a tweet by a lady who applied for a role, got a response via email, but missed it. She found the email a week later, but by then, the opportunity was gone. Imagine explaining that to the company!

➖This is just a gentle reminder: normalize checking your email regularly—yes, even your spam folder. Emails aren’t old-fashioned or outdated.

When was the last time you checked your email? Or do you not even have the app on your device?😂

P.S. To those who send emails like they’re chatting on WhatsApp: what’s going on, really?

Quick one - Please at what point do we stop saying “Happy New Year“?🤌

Happy Saturday! Have a fun-filled one ✨

So the travel agent told you to pay 500k and he will help you process your japa in two weeks.

Two weeks? 500k? And you paid?

➖Flight - 700k to 1 million (it depends)

➖Visa application- 50,000-100,000 (it depends)

➖Health insurance (it depends)

➖Miscellaneous and others (it depends)

But he asked you for 500k for him to run all these things for you and you paid. Osho Bonaza Bonaza

A proper japa process will cost you millions of Naira.

It's not everything that I'll tell you.

If you refuse to do your research, someone else will take advantage of your foolishness, ignorance and desperation.

I have two questions:

1.Do you know that people block people? That's the way the travel agent will block you.

2. Do you know what scam is? They have scammed you.

The 500k that you'd have used to start a pure water business at Iyana-Ipaja, you wasted it. If going abroad is 500k, then why do you think many of us haven't gone?

If you like be wise, fake travel agents are everywhere and they know you like cheap things.

P.S- I'm not saying travel agents are scammers. I'm just saying you should be wise and identify scammers when you see one.
