Surgeons suffer from one of the highest rate of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (#MSD).

They work long hours, often in cramped, awkward positions as they hold human life in their hands. That stress adds up.

Posture during minimally invasive surgery is the most important factor influencing work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) for surgeons and OR nurses.

WMSDs are diseases that can be assigned to an occupational hazard. The physical and cognitive demands during surgery represent significant ergonomic burdens (Dabholkar et al., 2015).

Exoskeleton assists strain-free standing by distributing the wearer's weight across the shins and thighs, thereby making extended periods of standing more manageable.

What the perfect screen distance at your desk:

1️⃣ Screen Setup: Don’t sit too far or too low. Lean back with your shoulders against the chair’s backrest.

2️⃣ Hand Placement: Reach forward to the screen’s center to find your ideal screen-to-body distance.

3️⃣ Perfecting the View: Aim for the top edge of the screen. If it feels out of reach, adjust the screen slightly downward.

4️⃣ Ergonomic Tip: Tilt the screen up by about 10 degrees to match your eye level perfectly.

Choking first aid ⛑️! Choking is a serious and potentially life-threatening emergency 🆘 , especially for young children and toddlers who may put small objects or food in their mouths.

Moufid Taleb has put the following information & video together 🙏

➡️ Stay calm and assess the situation.

➡️ If the toddler is unable to cough, cry or speak, and is turning blue or red, it means that their airway is completely blocked, and you should take immediate action to clear the obstruction.

➡️ Call emergency services immediately, or ask someone nearby to call if you are unable to do so yourself.

➡️ While waiting for emergency services to arrive, administer first aid by performing the Heimlich maneuver. Stand or kneel behind the toddler and wrap your arms around their waist. Make a fist with one hand and place it just above the toddler's belly button. Use your other hand to grasp your fist and press inward and upward with a quick, forceful motion. Repeat this motion up to five times until the object is dislodged or the toddler starts coughing.

➡️ If the blockage is not cleared, continue performing the Heimlich maneuver and call emergency services back to provide further instructions until help arrives.

Remember, prevention is always the best course of action. Keep small objects and foods that are easy to choke on out of reach of toddlers, and always supervise them closely during mealtime and playtime. Additionally, it is recommended that parents and caregivers take a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) course to learn the proper techniques for administering CPR in case of an emergency

But why⁉️

➡️ Empty-cans need to be inverted prior to filling = sediment/debris can be blasted out with ionized air or water

➡️ Full-cans need to be inverted post filling, for multiple reasons.

1️⃣ Ensure the lid is seamed to the cans with no leaks.

2️⃣ So the code date can be printed onto the bottom of the can while its upside-down.

3️⃣ To sterilize the lid of the can with the hot liquid as it passes through the pasteurizer, then they are turn right-side-up for packaging.

The “shopping carts” are loaded with precisely targeted material in a pick zone using Safelog's intelligent pick-by-light picking systems.

After picking, the mobile AGV robots transport the “shopping carts” of goods in sequence to the predetermined destinations on the assembly line and return empty material containers to the picking zone to make them available for further picking processes. Prefabricated components such as engines and cockpits also arrive directly at the line via transport robots for assembly - all lined up like a string of pearls.
